So??? It’s been shit for 10 years, the people before him didn’t have 10 years to fix it.

isn’t that his job?? Something else that’s not his fault. That’s right it’s just lack of resources and bad luck.
Why should it take any coach ten years? Ricky Stuart won a premiership in his first year, so did Hagan. The length of time is irrelevant. Cleary won nothing in fifteen years, then he comes back to Penrith and suddenly he can coach? Within four years he had won two grand finals. Where was his coaching ability for the first fifteen years of his career? He didn’t even win half his games.

The Warriors where a rabble. He got them to the finals and to a grand final. It was a fair effort.
Nobody is suggesting BA can't coach. Of cause he f**king can but at some point we will have to change direction. His time here has been ok. If he gets us in the top 4 either this year or next I'd be quite happy with him. If we where not to make the 8 this season with the spine we have and Props along with Lane and Matterson I would be thinking his time is running out.
But its early in the season. He got us to the GF last season. He may get us there this one as well.

Well BA will have had 12 seasons of winning nothing by the time his current deal is up. Probably no harm to extend a further 3 years now and see if he can replicate Cleary, he's clearly got a better record at the same stage of his coaching career.

It would be derelict not to extend now the more I think about it...

Cleary was just biding time he just had to hang on for a decade and still be relevant when Nathan reached puberty.

RCG is an Alvaro type, just better.
If he is, being better makes him different. RCG is high all around prop work being a decent runner and tackler without being great at either. Alvaro was a terrible runner so tried to make up for that by being a high tackle attempt per minute player, but he wasn’t good enough at that either.

He was good enough for a brief period at his peak. His NRL career spanned age 22 to 28, and he won 56 games. Then he finished his career in Super League because he was too good for reserve grade. And presumably didn’t cost Toulouse a foreign spot.

Alvaro was a dead set plodder. His hit ups where soft and so was his defense. Fine back up but not the type id want in my top 17. He wouldn't make our side now. Makatoa is superior

The Dogs have elevated Okunbor to wing, Waddell to take Kikau’s spot and Topine and Andrew Davey to the bench.

Eels are APP.

So if we beat the Dogs (which by rights we should), we leapfrog them into 13th place.

Unless the Raiders beat the Dragons, and we'll jump them into 12th spot.

Slowly getting there - so long as we keep on winning....
