I think everyone who is tipping this week sees it as a lottery.

No one knows what's going to happen with the quality out.

I assume we are favourites based on our strong home ground advantage.

If it was at brookie I would say odds would be reversed.

If the the fat bloke Schuster and Jake are on and have field position, then I reckon they could be more creative than us. Plus Jake has a pretty long 7 iron kicking game, so we’ll be probably starting sets pretty deep.

So it will fall on our pack to win the middle, complete high % and DJ to kick us out of trouble. All the same we really only have Gutho swinging left or right with shifts to find the tries out wide. You can’t expect DJ or Matto to do much. In fact I think that this match will feel very much like those from a decade or so a go where our game plan was “here, you have a go”.

I think we have a better team on paper and all our squad are on good form, so that with the home ground adv should get us over the line. I think. Arm wrestle.

Thats why i think we will just grind away tomorrow night and hope they lose there patience.

Take it up the guts with Reg, Joffa & ogden.

Unless things are flowing in a touch footy type game Manly have shown they can't grind there way to a win.

I expect it to be an 18-12 type game. Hopefully our attack has 3-4 tries in them.

Manly have minimal leadership without turbo and DCE. We should run over them.
