There's no way I'd be deciding our future on the result of this one game. Fair enough to say it adds to an argument, but it seems to me merkins here are more looking for a reason to justify their predetermined position coming into the game.

A game we are yet to lose, let alone should we lose without examination as to why.

I gotta say I've enjoyed the last few years of our footy, there's been few games we go into where you just get that foreboding sense of doom that we won't handle it, which is a nice change from the dross we've dished up in previous years.

It maybe that BA is unable to take us up to the next level, it may not, but there's no denying we are a much better team and club for his input.

We destroyed Brisbane and then got zipped by Scum. Last year & 2017 we pushed Scum in week one and then only put in for 40 minutes in week 2 games.
The scoreline in week 1 means f**k all in week 2. Same thing into week 3 and GF.

Ponga is due for a big game. I reckon he might produce an Origin 3 type performance this week.

Is it that he will put in that true level of performance OR that we will make him look like we usually make Levi, Parker or "insert any name here" look like the worlds best player because we are scared to tackle certain players for some unknown reason?

Thats my concern especially if souths lose. I much prefer Parramatta as underdogs in a big game. I would be more comfortable next week then this week if we get through

I know they have the wood on us but a win this week and we are probably in our best position to beat souths in 3 years. We have always played souths at the wrong times its not an excuse they have put 38-40 points on us but we also haven't probably had a decent crack at them where we are close to full strength with some momentum as well in a while

Last year Round 16 loss 38-0 we already were in the top 4 against a team on a roll our worst performance of the year. Our form was sliding.

Semi final - coming off a loss to Melbourne physical clash plus major injuries lost the whole backline. Should have won but reasons behind it.
