Team list Tuesday- Week 3: Grand Final Qualifier - Parra v Cowboys discussion thread

Or is it what we do every week, sometimes better than others?

Johns and Cronk would have been too busy licking each others balls to provide a fair and reasonable assessment.
I think he was suggesting we were a bit Parraball in the last one but the Cowboys required a different strategy. No mention of scoring more points than them but.

BA on 100% footy said ‘it doesn’t look great’ for Opacic but they are going to let him train tomorrow and see how he pulls up. I got the vibe he’s next to no chance.

Also mentioned Nrown isn’t in the team as BA believes he’s a similar player to Matterson and can only have one player of that ilk in the team otherwise they potentially unbalance the 17 in terms of coverage if there is injury. He did allude that he is waiting for an opportunity, and that it would come… I’m hoping it’s this weekend.

I don't understand. Is he suggesting Matto will get injured?

In Cartwright's last game in NRL, he basically played as a middle forward when he came on. Given he is the size of a prop, he was able to actually bend the line and didn’t throw any silly offloads. Did much the same in the last KOE game, perhaps he has worked out what he needs to do to play NRL.
Yes, but I’d argue the main reason for his selection is to cover Papali’i if he struggles with the conditions. This doubles as a safety net if Marata finds himself in the centres mid game again if Opa goes down.

What kind of rookie coach picks his 1-17 for team balance and coverage?

It's like BA has a game plan or some type of strategy in how he wants to approach a game. Who does he think he is FFS, some type of professional NRL coach that can constantly get his team to the finals?

Well we on LU are awake to your deceitfulness BA, we know it's all about nepotism and making sure your son gets his bonus. Oh and of course its also because you don't like Nrown and Cartright for whatever reason we want to use this week.
