Abes to replace Newton or Reyno. Most likely Brown will get the utility spot, as it is essential to carry that type of player.

No one putting Sargent on the bench? Overlooking him, or assuming he's still out injured? Last I heard, he'd be available for round 2.

I mentioned in another Thread that Sragent and Davico are going to have a fight on their hands for the benchie spots.

Hard to fault White and Tolar's effort IMO. But, I suppose if Sargent is fit he will come onto the bench instead of White.

Sorry, missed that. Agree with the summation though. Personally, I suspect Sargent at least will get the nod.

Well if Sargent is available I'm not sure who I'd slot him in for. Davico's experience will be valuable in a side missing Joey and Buderus and being led by Mullen. Players like White just looked like followers to me out there.

There was one moment in particular where a Bulldog dropped the ball and it was just sitting at White and Perry's feet, and they both just looked at each other with confused expressions on their faces until it got regathered by the Dogs. It was still our scrum of course, but even from the youngest of ages you're taught to dive on the pill when it's been dropped, and often the best attacking runs come from this situation.

Tolar's one who doesn't seem to need someone telling him what to do to play well.

the team i would like to see -

1. Polglase
2. McManus
3. Carmont
4. MacDougall
5. Uate
6. Kidley
7. Mullen
8. Perry
9. Seu Seu
10. Woolnough
11. Simpson
12. Abraham/Reynoldson
13. Reynoldson/Abraham

14. Tolar
15. Sargent
16. Newton
17. Brown

i think macdougall needed his hands on the ball a little more.. because he had some great touches - just not many of them.

Yeah I'm also thinking Tighe to wing and MacDougall to centre.

As you said, MacDougall had some good touches but not many of them. He is our most dangerous outside back, and as such should be as involved as possible.

Tighe has good pace and is a wily player who knows how to work the sideline. I don't like him defending against the back-rowers either.

If Johns and Sargent are no good, put White and Brown (How did he go in PL?) in there.

I'd be very very, very surprised if Johns plays next weekend. I'd be inclined to go with Fred's team, with Brown taking Polglase's bench spot

I spose you are right, only 5 days til we play the Dragons, we probably wont risk Johns even if he seems alright.
