I have been (verbally) a BIG supporter of Chris HOUSTON up here where I live but geez he's dissapointed me the last few weeks with his hit ups - - sure he scores the occasional try through hitting the 'gap' hard but his general work rate of hitting the line and making metres of late has been VERY 'average' to say the least.

It's great motivation for a young guy to go into an off season as a firstgrader, and I think Ling and Natusch should get a game if we can fit them in.
I reckon Ling is better than Ciraldo and Natusch is better than Wicks.
Neither of them is anything more than a hardworking toiler like Tolar and neither will ever be a star, but both can be competent firstgraders as early as next year.

Royal needs some time in PL to get some match fitness.

I have no time for Wicks.

It would have been Tim, but I think Ling has earned a shot. We will not loose anything having him out there for Wicks. Gains in player quality and a great stepping stone for him.

He deserves it in my opinion.

It doesn't matter what we think or say, Wicks will be there next week. I can't believe that no-one raises the point that people like him shouldn't be playing first grade on the sunday roast or similar when they're more than happy to laugh at George Rose. At least Rose could make some metres when he wasn't eating.
