Brown to make sweeping changes now that our season is completely f**ked.
This attitude is such bullshit. We win six in a row, get f**ked by origin, and then we only want to give him one week to sort things out, and he's to blame for all our problems.

Brown can't make blokes tackle, and coaching doesn't make blokes suddenly stop defending. His only control over that is to drop. Try actually watching the game. Nothing has changed in the coaching, and yet the attitude is terrible. Brown is the easy target for the people that don't actually understand football - that's pretty clear.

Last night was the most important game of our season and the performance was atrocious.

The players should take their share of responsibility but Brown needs to as well. His team selection and use of the bench are below par. Apparently he gave them a spray on Monday which obviously did f**k all.

This is his team, he wanted to sign these players it’s his job to motivate them to perform.

They're getting paid 250k+ in most cases to play 20 odd games of football. If that's not enough motivation, then they can f*ck off. He's their coach, not their babysitter.

It's his job to move them out/down if they aren't motivated or aren't performing. He did that early in the season with Ese-ese, and everyone burst into tears. He's moving Levi on, and nobody gives it a second thought. He's tapped Buhrer on the shoulder, and again, that's ignored.

If there aren't changes this week, then yep, I'll cop it - but if you honestly believe that a pack of grown men need their hand held each week, need someone to manage their motivation, and need to be babied each week into putting their shoulder in to a tackle, you're a goose.

And below par for team selection? I keep seeing this, with no valid solutions. Tell me what your magical solution is.

There is no magical solution but continuously picking the same blokes isn’t going to do anything.

Give Jacob Saifiti a run he’s been excellent in Canterbury Cup. Give Brodie Jones a run. Pick Saulo and play him for more than 10 minutes.

What’s the point of carrying Buhrer on the bench and playing him for 10 minutes? Brown is seriously guessing with no real idea of what he wants to do.

I’ve defended him most of the time that he’s been here but he’s lost me. He looks out of his depth and should be moved on if we can’t turn it around and make the Finals.

Funny that the only people who think he looks out of his depth are people on a footy forum.

On paper it's a top 8 side easy. But Brown says some players are not having a go, particularly in defence and I'd concur with that. All clubs blame the coach when things go wrong but the Knights owe much to this bloke and would be foolish to ship him out.

Interesting to see who he drops.

Good point but how can anyone explain having Buhrer on the bench.

Mann, okay. It's good that he is playing one position now. Gavet, understandable because he does have good games here and there.

What is up with Buhrer?

I dont agree with Buhrer on the bench either.

I also don't think I have all the information or that one decision makes Brown a bad coach

What is he better than Watson at? His service is shit, defence is nothing special and he offers nothing in attack besides the occasional selfish dive at the line.
from Hooker he goes very well I think. He needs to rid the brain farts out of his game and he's going to be a special player. I've got high hopes for Watson.

Not sure it’s team to lose, would like to think we are a chance with right selections and attitude. For mine this week anticipating changes the team is:-
1 Ponga
2 Hunt
3 Moga
4 Ramien (we have no one else unless it’s Mann)
5 SKD
6 Lino (offers variety, kicking and therefore pressure off Pearce)
7 Pearce
8 Klemmer
9 Watson/Levi
10 DSaf
11 Guerra (play him right side to stiffen defence)
12 Jones (time he had chance, playing well in reserves)
13 Glasby
14 Levi/Watson (if you don’t have Levi you have Buhrer or Randall)
15 JSaf
16 Ese’ese/Gavet/Saulo/King if not out injured. My pick Ese’ese.
17 Sione/Barnett

Gavet, Buhrer shouldn’t see firsts again.

Ese’Ese’s defence has literally lost us games but at least he has a go with the ball. Same can be said for Barnett.

Mann can’t defend.

Levi is plodding again.

Hope fitzy is back.
