I would suggest Sironens roster spot has been taken by CHT. Ability to play centre, 6, 7, 9, lock.

Sironens role is to provide a back up for the back up plan. Webster is cautious like that.

If we lose a half and a hooker Sironens selection makes a lot of sense.

If we lose Walker and a half or Walker and a Hooker same difference.

Alternately if we lose only one of Egan or SJ or TMM then Sironens inclusion means we are not short of an impact back rower with Walkers move to cover the halves or Siro being a direct swap for Egan.

Basically Sironen means we can still field a team in a bad situation that could play the same game plan without major changes.

And that is without considering that Sironen can pass a ball and could come in for Tohu Harris at a pinch.

CHT is a really good defender, a better ball player than Siro, and can kick at short range, he could be an amazing bench Utility.

Sorry about all the blurb in that post, the machinations get a bit confusing but that is the point, one player brings mega options.
