Gee thats a poor looking side.
Who are we missing now we had contracted this season? I reckon I could make a side, here I go...

1 Kearney
2 Killer Karl
3 Reni
4 Fraser Ando
5
6 Baz
7 Buster
8 Ross
9 Caine (dont know if he counts)
10
11 Gall
12 Toops
13 Bird

Nearly got there, that team looks a lot better than the one playing for us this weekend.

Blake fuggen Green!

Gee, i didnt realise we had an abundance of halves running round, hmm lets see, Baz injured, Buster gone, who else would you put there?

Im no Blake Green fan, but dead set, it seems some blokes on here just like coming on tuesday arvo and bagging the line-up. We have injuries all over the place and we are lacking depth, what do you expect, you can't have first graders waiting in the wings everytime there is an injury.

I think some people on this forum live in a fantasy world.

The weather forcast is for showers all day on sunday

I dont think we are gonna get offloads away galore leading into 2nd phase plays like we have over the last few weeks, so could be a tight tussle

Guys, whats happening with Gallan and Topou? Are they a chance this game?

a good a place as any to explore the 'oh woe is me' 2009 excuse

1 Kearney- was injured most of last year as well
2 Filiga- who?
3 Maitua - oh the guy who wasnt there last year and who was a known nutbag
4 Anderson - mr mediocre 2008
5 Wright (could be goneskies with that neck injury)- geeze what a loss that would be
6 Barrett - played most of the season and if the truth be told our win rate with him in the side is quite poor
7 Seymour - out of form and porter is doing better
8 Ross - missed a great deal of last year as well due to injuries and suspensions
9 Caine - who
10 Selmes (i think he is injured, not sure) - who?
11 Gallen - played most of the season and if the truth be told our win rate with him in the side is quite poor
12 Tupou - our best player who has only missed a couple of games
13 Bird - toops has equal and arguably more talent

sorry guys

and i am gonna be the new reefy but the 'woe is us' 2008 was somehow unusual for injuries argument just doesnt stack up

STILL ricky has his excuse and it is being swallowed

well, aren't you mr sour grapes

its not a matter of WHO they are, its a list of players who are out, goneskies, potentially goneskies (wright), thats alot of players for a club to have missing

maitua may not have been around long but he was still a contracted player

Kearney played a lot more last year than this year millers.
Filiga, yea fair enough he never did anything but I was trying to fill my team.
Matua - May have been a known nutbag but people can change, he played for australia once and we could use him right now.
Anderson - didnt set the world on fire but was a solid first grader IMO and again he is a lot better than some of the players in first grade atm.
Wright - agreed.
Barrett - our win rate for the season is poor with or without baz, he has been one of our best all year in an injury depleted side.
Seymour - agreed but he was very good for us last year, this year a big dissapointment but I would have him playing ahead of Green this weekend.
Ross - see Kearney.
Caine - you know that bloke Steve Price ruined?
Selmes - Meh
Gallen - our best player
Toops - our second best player
Bird - One of x-factors along with kearney.

My point was that we are missing enough players to fill another team. No team in the NRL can win with their big names out. Look at the broncos the last few weeks.

Do you think if we had Bellamy or Bennett coaching us we would have made the 8 this year millers?

At least 8 of those guys would be playing for us this weekend if still with us or not injured.

nothing personal phatman

Kearney played a lot more last year than this year millers.

i cant remember

how many games did he play?

Filiga, yea fair enough he never did anything but I was trying to fill my team.
Matua - May have been a known nutbag but people can change, he played for australia once and we could use him right now.

the fact is that he was a known nutbag and a huge risk

ricky rolled some dice and lost
Anderson - didnt set the world on fire but was a solid first grader IMO and again he is a lot better than some of the players in first grade atm.

the fire men are still safe back at the station

Wright - agreed.
Barrett - our win rate for the season is poor with or without baz, he has been one of our best all year in an injury depleted side.

yes

but the fact remains our win rate with him is poor and he has played the vast majority of games - we were gone before hius latest injury

Seymour - agreed but he was very good for us last year, this year a big dissapointment but I would have him playing ahead of Green this weekend.
again the club rolled the dice with a known nutbag and lost

Ross - see Kearney.

what did he play? 4 games?

Caine - you know that bloke Steve Price ruined?

yes

but he aint exactly the top line talent is he

Selmes - Meh
Gallen - our best player
Toops - our second best player
Bird - One of x-factors along with kearney.

and my point is that kearney and ross were missing the vast majority of the season last year as well

and that toops barret and gallen all suffered injury after the season had gone

bennet or bellamy coaching us - i think both would have picked the best sides available

i dont think ricky did

so if bellamy or bennet coaching i would say we would be contesting a low 8 spot rather than hoping the roosters loose the rest of their games so we can avoid the spoon

yeah my thoughts exactly but there is no other option , who else is there ?

years gone f**k it , as long as we dont get the spoon

Yeah I know what you're both on about, just dissapointed that we don't have anyone else.

In the remaining rounds the Roosters have to win 2 more games than we do because of their crap F/A - with 6 rounds left I reckon we only need 1 more win and we are safe (Easts won't win half their remaining games!)
