im most certainly not blaming them at all, i was just laughing how there seem two be two groups of players out there.

1 group that tries there guts out, gives all and get all the kudos from the fans

the other group that try their guts out, give all, and get all the blame for a loss lumped on them by forumers who dont actualy seem to understand football

and i thought stapo was ordinary, and porter a bit quiet, and was pointing out that i thought millington was bloody excellent in a heavily beaten team

Tell me where I said that Millington wasn't among the best out there today. Go on.

I assume you are referring to me in the "forumers who dont actualy seem to understand football"?

Tell me that Pommeroy,Norrie, Hughes, Seu Seu, Brown, Wright and Green would get a run at any decent footy club right now.

Gallen, Douglas, Snowden, and Millington were excellent today.

Porter was belw average. Covell was average. Ferguson was average. Afamasaga was average.

It's not all about effort dude. As I said last week, there comes a time when you just have to win. This bunch is not going to do that.

We didnt have Barrett, Toupou, Ross or Kearney.. Not to mention 3 other players we lost through other circumstances.

Thats seven very good FG'ers and 3 of those we lost before round 2. Excuse or not it's the truth. We were always going to be pushing sh*t up hill.

i think that was a tender nerve i hit... hahhaa.. you were just mouthing off and got called on it

Pommeroy,Norrie, Hughes, Seu Seu, Brown, Wright and Green are all players who would get a run at any decent club, in the exact role they are playing at ours.... depth due to injuries.

i dont think douglas or gallen were all that today, snowden went alright, millington was the best out there.

The 3 above are borderline at best.

What we are seeing is in essence, a reserve grade team running around in firsts. And no amount of "gutsy", "they tried hard" takes away from the fact that it's just another year of failure.

Unless we can find or buy a "game changing" player along the lines of Hayne, then I honestly don't see much changing next year either.
I actually agree about next year. I don't know what the excitement is about. I expect us to be making up the numbers next year as well tbh

I'm starting to think Chris Anderson was right.
He was never right, and it was he who began the rot. He kept only the bath water and between him and Bazza Pierce, we have yet to fully recover.

By "right" I mean the culture of the club, and especially the fans.
It's all OK as long as we have our team and they try a bit. Losing is apparently accepted by the Shire. There is always a reason to make it OK.

I still want to know who Pommeroy, Wright, Hughes and Seu Seu are covering for....

pommeroy isnt covering for injuries, nor is wright, and hughes is stickys fault i think

seu seu i think is filling for caine who cant train properly since price ruined him.

pom and wright are there cause there isnt any other option

and hughes, well, sticky wont drop him.

So which is it? Depth due to injuries? Or 1st choice players?
