While I didn't think Lolohea was the answer at 6, a couple of weeks ago the coach did - then RTS went down, but Fusitua showed he's potentially up to #1, so I am confused

Good team but shame Lolo not at 6. With Allwood in the 18, it wouldn't surprise me to see a late change with Fusitua to fullback, Allwood to wing, Lolo to 6 and TL dropping out.

The NITV program (Channel 34, Foxtel 144, Tuesday night 7.30pm-9.00pm) is a great watch, such a refreshing change from Nine's tired old show. It might be showing on Maori TV in NZ.

Allwood is probably 18th man to cover both Leuluai and Lolohea coming back from injuries.

I would've left Matulino & Bodene one more week but no matter, with Mannering still out I guess Bodene is required.. and if you're picking him, it would be ridiculous to ignore Matulino (glad it's via the bench to start with though).

That's really interesting. Didn't know that existed, will have to give it a watch in future.

The only thing I can think of in terms of some sort of rationale for Wright over Allwood is that we have Kata playing on that side, who doesn't pass the ball to his winger very much at all - so why pick a quick winger when you can pick a player who has shown a bit of defensive nous over the last season or so to spoil/prevent tries?

I really felt for the Parra fans last night, considering what's been happening in the lead up to the game and the manner in which they lost it.

No matter what happens with us today it surely can't be that bad.

The Reserves and Juniors are both playing in Sydney, so they wouldn't have the cameras and all set up. Not sure why they didn't just play all three games at Christchurch though.

Juniors just got the floor wiped with them, 74-10. The Panthers side looks good, but geez that is embarrassing. Looks like the juniors finals streak is finally coming to an end.
