What I'll think you'll find is during the 2001 season and previous to that few line breaks were made against our defence - 2002 and 2003 when our defensive patterns declined left a lot more gaps for breaks to be made. This highlighted Hodgies problems in defence.

Very few fullbacks or wingers for that matter in todays game are great defenders 1 on 1 - Schifcofske is one of the more accomplished defensively however most fullbacks - Wesser, Slater, Minichiello, Bowen, Hodgson, Burt, Webb, Watts...... are at a disadvantage defensively in 1 on 1 situations.

If your fullback is missing a lot of one on one tackles from breaks then you need to look long and hard at your defensive strategy.....

Is actually missing them, or is required to make them because of too many breaks in the first place?

Because they are playing like busted bums. They don't have to play first grade just because they are "pretty boys".

*edit - I've warned you nicely once pete about attacking people personally. Consider this the second* CE

Just on Petersen looking over the stats from the match he actually made 103 metres from 19 hitups only McKinnon (183), Vella (135), Kearney (120), Bell (113), Hindmarsh (112) and Chan (107) made more metres in the match

In comparrison Burt made 16 mtres from 6 hitups

defensivly was another matter

Petersen 3 tackle 1 missed
Burt 21 tackles 3 missed

Petersen made 1 line break Burt 0
Petersen 2 handling errors Burt 3

Stats don't mean a lot but Petersen did make a lot of metres.

Peterson at least goes looking for the ball.

Burt is usually flat footed when he gets the ball.

As far as I can see this is THE only warning I have had? Be consistent with your moderating. I did not consider what I said was a personal attack. Just a statement of fact.
If you want to EXPLAIN WHY you consider them PERSONAL send me a private message.
I have been attacked on this FORUM but I have let them go through to the keeper. As long as the comments aren't defamatory, you are stifling freedom of speech and debate.
We fought Two World Wars and Gulf Wars to preserve democracy. I think you need to loosen up a little. We are talking about a football team..
It is fair game for people on these forums to bag the coach and CEO of our great Club with character assisinations, but it is not right for someone to put the other point of view. I accept your ruling (have no other alternative because I enjoy posting on here) but I DEFINITELY DO NOT AGREE WITH IT. You need to have a good lok at yourself and your rules.

I can't help to feel sorry for you lot. I new saints were going to smash the eels after Smtih tyook out the whit-board at half-time...

If we can't beat this mob (and convincingly) then we really suck harder than a 2 dollar thai hooker.
If Parra doesnt win by 40+ then i am going to be very pissed off lol
if we don't win this game with that Dragons team against us - I will dead set vomit!....so if worst comes to worst and u see someone in the terrances barfing their guts up, u'll know who it is
yeah, teams of nobodies do lift for games but really Parra should be able to put the cleaners through the Dragons
Looking at that Dragons team

If Parra win by 50 the season is back on track
If Parra win by less then 20 then more changes are needed
If Parra lose then look out Souths we're taking your spoon

either way I'll still support them but seriously anything less then a big win will be a disapointment.
