Thank God...Smith can actually pick a side!

Why is everyone crying over Burt...I've said for 5 seasons he isn't a center and i wouldn't drop Langi for Burt...No Way as i said Burt isn't a Center.

All we have to do now is get rid of Petersen and i'll be happy thats for sure.

Why are people also calling for McKinnon's head? he was the best on field on Sunday.

Someone has already suggested that Ash Graham's selection could just be a smoke screen for one of the younger guys to be a late inclusion in the centres - Ben Smith?? Feleti Mateo??

Ash has been proven but with the injury cloud over him, could he be a smokescreen for Harris???

Probably not I guess if he is still injured, Burt will come back.

Thorman was #18 when he debut if memory serves me correctly

DRAGONS TEAM:

1. Clint GREENSHIELDS
2. Andrew FREW
3. David HOWELL
4. John CARLAW
5. Reece SIMMONDS
6. Daniel HOLDSWORTH
7. Mathew HEAD
8. Nathan LONG
9. Mark RIDDELL
10. Justin POORE
11. Ben CREAGH
12. Tony JENSEN
13. Dean YOUNG (c)

14. Ashton SIMS
15. Bryan NORRIE
16. Aaron WHEATLEY
17. Lincoln WITHERS

If we can't beat this mob (and convincingly) then we really suck harder than a 2 dollar thai hooker.

Nah that team will never work. Should be 15 Widders and 16 Armit ;-)

Stupid jokes aside I like the team, I'd prefer Burt on the wing for Petersen. Apart from that though no complaints.

I'm happy that Ashley Graham has made it back to FG. When I first saw the injury I really feared the worst. Alternatively if Graham is a smokescreen for Ben Smith to get a call up, this is a situation where it makes sense to partially conceal his true intentions for the team so he doesn't have the media hounding him.

This is a great opportunity to improve our points for and against, but the team must first win the game before attempting to run up a score.
Beware the wounded Dragon, they will come out fired up and enthusiastic.

Burt has to be better than Peterson on th wing. It looks like Smith is trying to make a centre out of him no matter what.

I'm a Luke Burt fan but he has been down on form and probably deserved to be dropped. Maybe Peterson deserved the chop first but I am just pleased for the fact that Smith is taking the hard line and dropping players he considers to be out of form, he hasn't been doing it much this season. Great to see Hopkins and Graham back in the side, Hopkins especially should offer us some the heart that will be lacking with Hindy out. And Wagon at lock? whoah, Dykes back to 5'8th? Good stuff, Smith at least is trying to mend some errors.

A few things

1) Smith seems to be a bit of a Muzza fan, earlier this year when they had the interviews with Smith on the official site when the team was named he would often complement Petersen on his effort and hunger at training. This could be why he wasn't dropped

2) If there was to be a smokescreen selection for Ben Smith to come in why not keep Burt named in the top grade rather then naming a player who has played about 2 games in the last 6-8 months.

3) Very happy to see Dykes/Thorman in the hlaves with Wags at lock

4) Hopkins deserves his recall into the top side even if Hindmarsh was there I'd still expected to have seen Hopkins in the top 13.

5) Assuming there are no changes to the team then I'd think that Webster could come on for Langi who last time I checked only plays about 50 mins a game with a reshuffle in the team seeing either Wagon in the centres with Morris to lock and Webster to hooker or Morris shift out the centres and Webster into hooker.

Hold on people, dont get to excited about smokescreen the only reason I said Graham may be a smokescreen was because it was mentioned Graham was seen on crutches last week.

It's a bit puzzling actually, I know he missed last weekend but prior to that he hasn't exactly set the world on fire and at the same time was being upstaged by his centre partner who I might add am getting a tad excited about.

I'm not getting excited in fact I was trying to point out that the chances of a smokescreen are close to nil due to the fact it was Graham that was named.

Halves = :clap: :clap: :clap:

Centres = #-o

backrow? Well, I'd have Wagon in the centres.

Still, it's as if Brian Smith has suddely discovered thois forum, but has yet to read Ron Jeremy's work.

Have to say, overall, it's an improvement. But the real improvement needs to happen on the paddock!

Looking at that Dragons team

If Parra win by 50 the season is back on track
If Parra win by less then 20 then more changes are needed
If Parra lose then look out Souths we're taking your spoon

either way I'll still support them but seriously anything less then a big win will be a disapointment.
