And thinking about this, how planned is this exit? Its announced Wednesday morning, team named Tuesday afternoon and Walker in it? How can it change so fast? Surely they knew about this at least a tad before now?

Looking at the team sheet and replacements, it looks like a 'normal day'?

They knew. I think he's been wanting to get back to see his kids for a while since he has split with his missus. Cameron George stated they wanted to keep him on till the end of season but understands why Dylan wanted to go back. He has served us well and we need to move on.

I dunno. So he goes through the whole pre-season. Understands all the defensive and attack systems they are working on. Goes to Para, tells them all how it works and suddenly Para beats us? Sure, I'm being dramatic, but what stops that happening?

When you're a professional footy player and a Dad you could get pulled in to different directions with your thinking. Stay on and complete the year be a professional vs. Missing your kids and getting a deal to play footy closer to them. He's human. If a player wants out for whatever reasons the best thing to do is grant it. I get where you're coming from though, honoring contract etc. On the other hand you wouldn't have a player around that has their mind set elsewhere. He has provided good service to our club. I wish him well.

Very true, but if I'm him I'm doing it. I have kids. I know if I can get away with it, 100% I'm going to try and F professionalism.

We’ve pretty much got our best side on deck for this one and desperate for a win at home after months/years of crap.

I’m pretty excited about the agility both sides will bring to the match and we should see some solid strike out there.

We like to play the longer game these days.

Good stuff.

We are just pleased to have a competitive side. Still a long way to go.

I read about Dylan, but I think he was leaving next year anyway. Hopefully you can unearth some younger talent with greater longevity. The way he’s played, it’s very hard on the body.

He was at 14, so someone has to be brought in to cover, but apart from a few adjustments, it won’t impact your game plan too much which I think will be launch the raids early and try to break our spirit.

So I am expecting your pace and agility early.

This is a top 8 contest, so it should be enthralling.

I think we are all happy to see the Tigers enjoying some success. We know what it’s like.

Hopefully you lose this week, but continue to have success this year

Steady on sunshine, your excitement in having a better team is carrying you away. Warriors are a long way from top 8 material and a world away from top 4 (which is what matters). Tigers are maybe in the same boat.

We're borderline 8 if we don't get injuries and play with the same commitment of the last two weeks. Tigers are definitely a fringe 8 side, so much potential in the attacking weapons they have

It's team 4 vs team 7 - thus a top 8 contest ;)

I'm not gonna be able to watch this live (going to a show with sister and bro-in-law they got me as a Xmas present, not knowing it was gonna be a Warriors clash) - also missed the Roosters game live to due to scheduling conflict, so if we win again with my absence I may just have to sacrifice my live viewings for the rest of the year for the good of the team!

If we want to be in the fight for the top 4 this year we have to win this game.

The tigers are much improved but still not near a top 4 side. The Storm and Broncos will be the real test
