Exactly. Pretty sure both involved defender's knee into attacker's leg. I'm bending over backwards to justify it being foul play on a kicker (strict policy that no contact can be made with kicker's legs of any sort) but really aren't they both just accidental leg-on-leg collisions by a defender otherwise obeying the rules?
As far as I'm aware as long as you're not tipping up the kicker while they're in the air, you're allowed to make a normal tackle on a kicker as long as it's not late. If a kicker goes deep into the line and then kicks, isn't there always a risk their leg is going to collide with a defender irrespective of what the defender is doing?
