I'm not a huge fan of Brian Smith but he would have been ideal. Come in, throw out all the dead wood and rebuild from the ground up. Then at least we can forgive poor early season performances knowing that the side can improve. Have him long term? Probably not, but then the next coach after him might have a side to work with.

This rabble keeps making the same stupid f**king errors and dumb plays week after week. Someone makes a break, there's no one backing up. SJ kicks high, no one chases the kick. Bloke runs across field and passes, to a man standing still. SJ gets the ball, offloads like it's a hot potato. SJ kicks straight to the opposition. Can't find open space if it were f**king sign posted.

Seem to have the wood on the Titans recently but Titans will fight till the 80th unlike the Warriors so I'm expecting a Titans win. f**king Warriors are so disappointing!!!

Look how Manly are going after last season. Then look at the Warriors :hushed:

Now Kearney says he's focused on Keiran as a man first. Well thanks counselor Kearney. I thought we hired him as a coach not as a psychiatrist. Anyway, best of luck to Keiran. Hope he has a good game. Not expecting the world from him in his first game. But I hope he makes it through unscathed.

Rest of the team (bar Mannering) need to pull up their f**king socks. If they can't do it this week it's time for some serious f**king change in that joint.

A final call on Kieran Foran’s long-awaited first grade return will be made on Sunday morning, pending how he pulls up from Saturday’s captain’s run.
Foran was a late withdrawal from the Warriors loss to the Dragons last week with a hamstring strain, and is pushing to get back for his struggling side’s crunch clash with the Titans.

Konrad Hurrell is good to go for the visitors having overcome an ankle concern, while the Dragons have also been forced into a late change through injury.

Not sure if club could afford to be paying for players to play for other clubs and unlike Australian clubs we do the have the talent living less than an hour's drive from us to pull from.

Rest is hard to argue, SJ has been going pretty good just no one with him, he can't do it on his own.

Injury probably hasn't helped the cause so far.

I think it's a bit of a cop out to blame injury tbh.

Every squad faces injury problems, and sure we're missing Mutts Foran and Manu and RTS at times, but if their replacements were hungry enough we should have coped better than 1 win from 5 with a slew of home games.

Tui, Vete, Lisone and Gubb have had enough first-grade experience to be NRL standard by now and should have adequately filled the spots. Ata, the least experienced, held the fort the best funnily enough.

I guess that's what we hoped for from Kearney, was either show desire/ passion or your out. Injury probably hasn't helped the cause so far.

I'm hoping Gavet and Sao will start showing a bit of controlled aggression from now on. Gavet has just turned 27 and with any luck will start coming of age as a prop. (For us) Both these guys need to be given a fair go in the top side now for at least the next 8-10 rounds.

Despite all the doom and gloom, 4 rounds isn't in my opinion enough time to get a gauge on whether your players are really taking on board, or will ever be able to take on board, the systems and structures you are trying to get them to play to.

From here on in I think we'll start to see who he considers to be worth retaining and who he doesn't. Whether Tui makes it back to first grade or not, without it being injury enforced, will be a good indication of Kearneys ruthlessness to team selection.

Everyone has injuries that can't be an excuse

Kearney has a record as an NRL head coach, that record screams he's not an NRL head coach...
