Yeah when you get injured, you get NAMED to play right? lol

Thats usually what happens when youre 'injured' right?

Like you said - you DO NOT KNOW or have any idea of his injury.

And yet 5 posts before you diagnosed it as a "bullshit injury" when clearly you don't know either.

Hey you draw first blood when you called me "doc" in your sarcastic way so I gotta return the favour :)

Yeah you're absolutely right. Loads of players out there who are playing under some niggle. Theres definitely a lot of speculation around Lukes 'injury' as he is an important part of our team. I just feel he's so important that risking his 'injury' is a huge risk for a game we should win easily thats all. Him being named tells me that its not at all serious if theres one at all.

It could be nothing, it could be something he needs a needle for every game...clubs generally don't release that information to the public.
Luke seems like the kind of player that will play on regardless of if he's injured or not...

Since player welfare is now paramount, first point contact with the head is normally a penalty, even I'd played is slipping.
Smith jumped to complete head shot.

Problem was Maumalo didn't sell it and bounced up to play the ball.
Obviously rattled as he went to play the ball. :)
Player welfare is not paramount at all - the Burgess and other Souths player hitting Farah high didn't result in a penalty and then a bunch of NRL people were happy with Burgess acting like a goose afterwards.

Yeah absolutely. I just hope he doesn't get injured in this game.

He has nothing to prove in this very winnable game. If Luke scores 3 tries this week, it doesn't mean much to me. I want to see his 3 tries against the top teams in finals footy. I'd rather we field Lawton or grow someone in these types of games.

Get lost you bag of shit
Hey Im just saying what YOU'RE saying. Read my post, its basically a reiteration of your post I replied to earlier.

No need to get angry Meth with all your insults.

I am not sure resting Luke for a week will help all that much. He needs surgery
He's got an injury that requires surgery so rest is no good so he might as well play this week aye...

I know that you think you’re coming across as being reallly witty and entertaining, but you’re really not.

Haha you got me Methanol. I do think that I'm entertaining and it saddens me that, according to you, I'm not, but I'd like to think that so many are reading our rather futile debate where you are clearly upset.

It's all good by my end Meth ;) but you should've already known that when I liked your posts. You see I can disagree without getting upset. Lets just hope Luke doesn't get injured this week, yeah?...

Tohu and Kakariki back, absolutely no excuses this week
Im totally writing the Titans off this week. To me, this game is about how much we win by. A 12-6 win would be a step down from last week, even in this tight competition called the NRL where anyone can beat anyone BUT!! the Titans should not beat us.

No, Kearney said on Radiosport this afternoon that it is easier to name players in the 21 because of the NRL rules and then rule them out later in the week. Both Harris and Luke have to pass tests during the week to be able to play, so yes Luke is carrying an injury.

On paper, this should be a flogging. But we don't typically flog teams that we are supposed to. Of our three "easy" games this year, we have won by 12 or less.

I was worried about Harris starting after being out for so long but it's only been 4 weeks. Feels like much longer.

In other news...

"Referee Gavin Reynolds and touch judge Ricky MacFarlane were dropped for the errors in the Raiders' controversial 28-24 loss, while State of Origin whistleblower Gerard Sutton has been assigned to a lower-profile match.

The game's No.1 referee, who was the lead whistleblower in all three Origin matches, was spared the axe but will control the Titans-Warriors match at Cbus Super Stadium at 2pm on Sunday."

A lower profile match? With one team in the finals? There are 2 non top 8 games on this weekend... why are we "lower-profile" than Cows vs Knights or Bulldogs vs Tigers?

I'm triggered.

Yeah he does have a calf strain. Obviously a grade 1 and that doesn't need a surgery. However strains could do with rest but they got medics there and I guess we'll see if he plays or not. Like us all - I just hope he's in good shape for the important games.

I think they call it lower profile because they see it as an easy win for us and understandably so. Those other games you mentioned are a closer contest in their eyes.

Im just happy we ain't got Adam Gee or Cummins. Sutton, for the most part, ain't too bad.
