I think some of you guys are reading to much into it, Guru has been struggling with injury for a while and it looks like tthis time he hasn't come up. Reddy back and INU to the wing is still pretty handy.

Hang on he pretty much says that grothe has a niggling injury? So why not rest him.
Le te mari -I thought he looked the goods at the dogs.I think if he can put it together he could be one to keep an eye out for!

Sounds good to me, we'd surely want him fighting fit going towards mid-season. Plus its a long plane ride up there in those little seats in economy.

With 6 proven players fighting for 5 backline spots it makes sense to me to rest a player for a week if they have a niggling injury.

Didn't you know everything must be a conspiracy theory when it comes to Parramatta.:sarcasm:

Grothe has been brilliant this year, But I don't see Inu as a weak link in our side. I think his pretty good defensively does make errors but he is a great attacker at times IMO.

yep they have followed Cricket Australia's rotation policy and giving someone a rest every now again.
I thought Reddy got 2 Weeks?

We surely must be in a crisis again this week :sarcasm:

Glad to see Inu back on the wing, this position is his best. Watch him bamboozle Williams, Ash and Wille on friday night :)

He is a 10x better defender than Guru. He missed 1 costly tackle last week but that's a one off. He doesn't rush up out of the line like Guru and leave a 3 man overlap.

No doubt Guru has been our best back this year but if we keep conceding tries down our right edge each week something has to change?

i'm sorry......but INU missed that one costly tackle (badly) for South's second try, but also rushed up badly in defence and left Guru stranded with 3 players for their first try as well......he was horrid in defence against Souths...

Grothe has to be injured....I mean DA said as much......

Here Here TE, I believe it was Luke and Timana v Canberra that leaked alot of the tries too, not Guru.
I've thought so far that T and Burty and our better attackers and Guru and Reddy our better defenders.

Am I the only 1 to notice the Guru's hit ups he's taken longer to get to his feet and play the ball he looks hurt .....he seems to grimace at the play the ball........ takes awhile to get back into posie but most of the Grothe disbelievers would say SNAFU
I reckon he is injured

if he is hurt, why bother naming him as 19 at all? why not just say he is out?

Given we're playing in QLD we need to take 18 players anyway. This part of the article doesn't really make sense though

“Last week he only trained for 20 minutes, and that’s not suitable” Anderson said.

“And the last couple of weeks he has not trained at all.

he goes alright for an injured guy - takes it up as hard and as often as anyone in our team
