I thought Fitzgibbon looked good in the 20's in 2014, he was one of our best players. He's definitely not up to First Grade though.

He shredded U20s, but just doesnt have the size or technique for Firsts (he does that weird thing Housten used to do in tackles, sticking his arse way out so he doesnt need to tackle with his chest stomach. If he doesnt grow out of THAT, he'll never improve).

Im fine keeping him on as a resident NSWCup/fringe NRL player, with the hope that he might improve. But if he gets an offer somewhere else, Browny shouldnt even try to compete....

Mamo deserved to hold his spot in the side. Feeney will only improve in what appears to be his best position. Deniss and Mamo vs Feldt and Winterstein makes me feel a lot better knowing Jake and Cory will both defend with all they have at this very early stage of their careers. Jake and Sione could become anything as a combo. Plenty of mongrel right there.

I was thinking last night how much difference a fit Snowy would have made this year. Apart from his immense bulk you can just see he would add a good 100 - 150 metres per game. That is telling at this level. Not to mention he has great offload. Really sad to see him go out this way.

Uate has been putting effort in and playing ok, but my guess is that Brown has given him things in his game to work on at training and during games which he isnt doing or attempting to do.

If he can put on some weight, Feeney would make a decent backrower...

I can see what Brown had in mind putting him at fullback; he had some good touches in attack, it was defence/positioning that really let him down at the back.

Lachlan Fitzgibbon and Jaelen Feeney will never be solid first graders.

Feeney looks nervous and awkward in attack. Does ok in D

Fitzgibbon just looks like total shit with and without the ball.
