He needs another crack at fullback .

Burt has played fullback all season and has being rubbish

its now time for hayne to get his chance at fullback again for a few games and simple he does rubbish he is out .

oh boohoo

Hayne played crap in the centres

Hayne got shifted to the wing and played like crap

so he will suddenly play great at fullback??

So, is he going to cry like a little bitch and delibratly play like crap until he gets what he wants

talk about a spoilt little sh*thead.

if that is his attitude then F*** him off the Bali with a 4 kg of pot.

Reddy probably still wants a crack at fullback but he has played to the best of his ability in the centres and hasn't gone off crying to the media when he hasn't gotten a chance

for pure attitude reasons he deserves the #1 jersey before The Pretty Boy

Think about it though Haynze played fullback for the remainder of our season last year and he was ok he wasnt superb but he was good enough. And he hasnt played well for us the entire season so all iam saying is maybe Hagan should just listen to him and let him have another go at Fullback and this week against manly is the Perfect game for him to go to Fullback.

All im saying is that Hayne wants more ball and wants to get more involved get him to fullback give him another chance.

Damn i hoped we signed Josh Morris

Haynze pisses me off when he is at fullback he doesnt return the ball like he wants to run at the defence like he is scared .

He was closer to the action and more involved at centre but that did nothing for his form

sorry but that argument is total bullshi*

i sometimes wonder we even talk about this stuff anyway because we no nothing will change

true, I know HAgan won't drop any players

I mean look at Grothe he wasn't dropped until his mistakes cost Parra 4 games.

Hayne may be playing like shi* but he isn't making simple errors that cost Parra games. So he won't be dropped for a long long time

hi all,my first post..IMO joel reddy is a perfect for fullback..good under high ball, very good one on one defender(strugglers in the centres in defence) and will attack the ball..burt simply does not have any of these qualities..and finally and most importantly he wears the jersey with passion

1. Kris Inu - No other option, Hayne, Burt, Tautai all need time in the lower grades
2. Iwi Hauraki
3. Ben Smith - Hopefully he is back
4. Joel Reddy - The only current back who deserves to keep his spot
5. Eric Grothe - does less bad things and more good things then Tautai
6. Kris Keating
7. Daniel Mortimer - If back if not, James Mahoney
8. Tim Robinson
9. Matt Keating
10. John Mannah
11. Nathan Hindmarsh
12. David Baumann - Deserves a chance
13. Feleti Mateo - Hasn't done anything wrong at 5/8 but needs to move to allow more important changes to happen

14. Tony Williams - Can fill centre and even the back row is also a handy goalkicker with if needed
15. Todd Lowrie - Not that it's saying much but he was one of the better players vs Souths
16. Broderick Wright - Can't be worse then the current cra*
17. Jeremy Latimore - Can't be worse then the current cra*

I personally can't see any justification in bringing up too many 20s players, and you have brought up 6 of them. I can't see that the halves and props are going great guns and the rest of the team is causing us to lose.

Perhaps wenty are a different story because at least they are winning. But quite simply the greatest danger in assessing form is that you are looking at very different form lines. The QLD and NSW cup are a big step below and the 20s is just as far if not further. You only have to watch a game and see which players carve up at that level who do nothing at nrl level.
I watched the qld cup game on the weekend, northern pride vs Easts. Now Matthew Bartlett who you should know, has played a fair bit of nrl for the cowboys, he looked amazing for the pride, busting tackles at will. He has only ever been an average nrl player.

I think we look at our current side and simply target guys who are going pretty poorly or have never shown much in the first place. I do think class will rise to the top eventually, but don't mind the option of a week or two down a grade to remind people they need a good attitude.

I have not watched any wenty games so I bow to others opinions there, but the 20s matches I have seen I think Tim Mannah is the guy who is a class above and it does not suprise me their form died when he got injured. Obviously Tony Williams has a tonne of class too, just lacks intensity. The outside backs used this year seem to be up and down, by the way what happened to Rea. The halves well I think Mortimer looks good, but needs to develop further. KK, I still think he looks like a hooker, he just lacks direction. He just looks like a lower grade half out of the wing, marsh mould. They lack the play making ability to be a genuine top class half, but it makes them very good hookers.
The other one is probably Baumann, he looks keen, but is he the type of player we need.

For mine, I would have

1. Hayne/Burt
2. Grothe
3. Ben Smith
4. Reddy
5. Inu
6. Mateo
7. Finch
8. Cayless
9. Keating
10. Fui Fui
11. Hindy
12. Riddell
13. Chad
14. KK
15. Williams
16. Cordoba
17. Tim Mannah

Riddell to play backrow full time, and the keatings to rotate at hooker.

Hurriflatch just does not like Hayne. He does not even want to give him a chance - would rather see him straight down to reserve grade and probably playing with another club. This is weird, but it is true, he will come on and admit it himself.

For mine, we cannot go any worse and whatever Hayne produces at fullback is unlikely to be worse than Burty. Such a change may be enough for the team to click - although this is unlikely. Bottom line is as a club we need to ignore people like Hurriflx, Bartman and Parra Jesus who are intitled to their opinion, but have such aweful judgement that they need to be put into a basket that says "weirdo please ignore".

IMO Baumann deserves a chance on this years performances.KK maybe off the bench but no way as a half.We have great outside backs and they would not see the ball.Maybe T Mannah. The thing is these guys havent been going great in NYC.Anyway Hags wont change the team

i've got a feeling that Hagan will make some changes this week, albeit minor. he will be under pressure to show that he has some heart and is prepared to play hard with the guys so he will make one or two changes to the team. to0 little too late

the changes HAgan will make will be bringing Cayless back in and moving Oake from jersey 17 to jersey 15

1. Hayne - needs to be there
2. Grothe - we need to bring him back in the team
3. B Smith - we need him for his defence and with him in the team eka can run and be a wreka again
4. J Reddy - only player that has put in each week
5. K Inu - plays better when on the wing

6. K Keating - time for him to be put in
7. B Finch - love him or hate him he always does his best

8. Cayless
9. M Keating - time to look at next year and he is our option
10. MoiMoi - although i like him from the bench he has lifted
11. Hindmarsh
12. Tony Williams - needs to be in the team
13. Mateo - if injured then Robinson

14. Pig
15. Weller
16. Robinson
17. Joe / Cordoba / or anyone who wants to step up

this will never happen ...

Anyone who is seriously considering changing the current team, but who still have Wagon in the 17, have got to be f**king joking.

It's not the personal but what they are doing. They have the ability but they don't seem to have a decent gameplan or anything in attack. One dimensional is one way to put it but I would go with negative boring footy.

Get the forwards hitting the ball up with support, pass before the line, offload and have dummy runners and angled runners. Against Manly you must look to go wide and stretch them but have options to turn the ball back inside.
