Geez Bartman, I've just read your last 3-4 posts which are basically targeting individuals, you've become quite the keyboard warrior haven't you?

And then there should be a post game wrap up thread.

It just simplifies everything if they are all separate.

Suity

While we are at it, could we have a death riders thread, where the dribble is confined to one thread!!!!

Butthurt. A bit like Johns and Freddy. I reckon they had a multi on and Parra stuffed it first game. Plenty of sand in the vagina stuff from both.

It was worthy of a penalty and no more. It was lazy but in the end as a playmaker you should expect that. Is it coming to the point in the game that playmakers have to wear a pink shirt for no contact....

There is no doubt it was late (later than i thought at the game) and would have warranted a penalty if it wasn't a try but nothing else.

Pauli wasn't even really looking at him, he was steaming at him, i don't think he could have pulled out of the tackle even if he wanted to!

He'll be charged because that is just how useless the MRC are but i think he will not miss a game with an early guilty plea.

One other thing i found odd is that in the first half the refs were staying out of the game and letting it flow. The second half they started the same and then all of a sudden they blow 5 penalties to Penrith and they are back level and then they put the whistle away and let the game flow again.

I'll be honest, i think both teams were committing the same infringements the entire game, why was there such a change for that period of the game?

I'm not suggeting cheating or anything like that, i just find it odd that they completely change what they are doing so significantly for a short period during a game.

Here's a bit Casper Conspiracy...

Maybe they awarded Sandow MoM to mess with BA. BA's made it clear that he wanted Kelly at 7. Awarding Sandow the MoM means BA looks the bad guy and/or incompetent.

I'm happy with BA, and Chris had a great game, but so did Norman, Peats and Semi.

I guess we'll never know...

G

I luke BAs comments about Sandow having had 4 good games, and no surprise, we won all 4
Insinuation that he has had 8 crap games? Or is only good for 1 out of 3 games??

I thought that was a shit comment, tbh.

Maybe those are the only type of comments that motivate Sandow? Seems that when he has been dropped or criticised, that is when he plays better.

Is it possible that BA has figured this out? Everyone is motivated differently and it is one of the coaches jobs to motivate his players.

Remember it worked for Hayne too, whenever the coach questioned him in public he reacted in a positive way for the team.

Sandow has played his favoured position (7) 10 times and we have won 4 of them. Better than Kelly. I'm just glad BA was forced to play him yesterday (thankyou NRL for helping pick our side) and for the rest of the year.

It was a smart way of saying Sandow is great when he's on but inconsistent. Anyway, it's not up to Sandow whether or not he has a good game, it is up to his team mates, and more importantly, the opposition. That's why we can't afford to carry him any longer.

I thought Sandow, being young, would be able to come here and learn to play at his best or close to it every week. But it's not just about his own effort, it's always about the circumstances of the defence facing him, which is out of his (and our) control. And that's just in attack. In defence the only way to stop him being an absolute liability is to control the ball.

I was wrong about Sandow.

If Arthur'd had his way, the only thing it would have motivated Sandow to do well was tear it up for Wenty. I just didn't like to see our coach stick the boot in after a good performance and a good win.

The coach seems to think it's the other way around.

And of course you weren't wrong about Sandow. How likely is that? You were wrong about being wrong about him, though. :)

I liked the fact we forced a couple of line dropouts last night with good kicks but even better chase and urgency in defence in the in-goal. Haven't seen it too much this year.

There was multiple things we did last night that were completely uncharacteristic. It makes you ask the question why we cannot do it all the time.

As much as it pains me to do this.... congrats on the win last night. You guys totally outplayed us in all aspects of the game. The only time we got back into the game was on the back of a string of penalties. The scoreline flattered Penrith.
