Team vs Storms

Was working outside Gosch’s paddock today whilst the Storm were training, if not in the work uniform I might have gone over and coughed on a couple of them 😂😂😂😂

Undecided if I want to go tomorrow night. I’ve still got nightmares from the last game, the final we got trounced there in 2018. But I’m pretty sure it was Easter Sunday I saw us actually beat them at the old Olympic Park many, many years ago. Maybe history will repeat?

Be amazing if we can compete and make some inroads in their defensive line especially up the middle. I think we more than match them on paper but like Fitzy says. Early days.
Hope the game isn't ruined by shit reffing, god its f**king bad atm.

Not expecting a win. but a good solid contest that's close will do me.

f**k Melbourne. merkin of a town.

So was Ramien last year according to many.
I'm looking forward to see how Fitz has un-Morrised Hiroti.
On point.
Seeing him on the sideline last week I was more bemused than anything, but the change in play from the likes off Ramien - more intrigued than excited to see what the coach sees in Hiroti.
Good times

Nikora and Katoa are big outs.

McInnes is a handy replacement but we'll lost his momentum and punch off the bench.

Katoa has been in fine form and and I'm not sure Hiroti will be able to match his high standards.

This is why Fitz has the 'next man up' philosophy. Hiroti isn't Katoa and won't do exactly what Katoa does but he will be expected to take tough carries, defuse bombs and defend. If he does that and keeps the errors to a minimum, he will do his job.

McInnes will bring energy. He will have a different role on the edge and will need to work well with Hynes as there will a lot of traffic coming his way. Good decision making and strong contact to shut them down.

Iku still recovering from his ankle injury. Has his moon boot off so should be back soon.

Sione is such a fantastic finisher. We will miss him. Hiroti for all his flaws is a very powerful runner. I think they will just be wanting strong runs out of our end and no hero plays.

Frenzy.

I see Iro made 228 metres yesterday in a losing Jets team. That kid is a machine. Must be close to getting a run as a replacement

You'd think so. Hiroti has only played left if i recall correctly.

That's going to be interesting too

Ronnie/Ramien vs Meaney/Olam
Sifa/Hiroti ve Smith/Coates

Someone is going to have to terrorise Hughes and Munster and minimise the bombs to Hiroti/Sifa
