Actually, now that I did read it and attempted to interpret your garbage, you are wrong. And geniused.
I knew it before you even posted that. You carefully read all my comments. Why else would you make such a noise about not reading them?

Your not the first to say we can't afford Dugan, Tedesco and Hunt. Let's say these three players are signed for 3m and the remaining 22 top 25 players were on an average of 250k. Total cap used would be 8.5m. If the cap for 2018 is 10m to 11m, there is plenty of room to make adjustments and fit all under the cap. If not, lose some deadwood and bringing some more juniors to make it work. Players like Field, Dufty, Leilua, Kerr, Garrick and many others would be below 250k. Just make it work.

Nice dream but the entire starting forward pack, other than perhaps McInnes are on way more than than 250k and every other club, including clubs much more adept at organizing TPAs would get an increase in the salary cap as well. that is the biggest flaw in your argument. Other than that, it makes sense.

“Initially, you’ve got to expect that people would want to protect their salary,” Gurr said.

“I don’t have an issue with that position.

Lets hope he wouldn't have an issue with every man and his dog knowing his salary and package or if a player made the same a demand.

And there you have it...... That is precisely what they do and of course would do unless they were complete morons in which case, they wouldn't be player managers for long.
Bullshit. Any recruitment manager worth their salt has not allowed these clauses in the contracts down to the uncertainty in salary cap rising and as you put it below, you are 100% wrong. As of next year tedescos contract will be a new contract and not negotiated upon a percentage of the cap.
Everybody please stop speculating about who the club can or can't afford due to salary cap increases. It doesn't work like that. It is calculated as a % of the salary cap. So if the salary cap goes up 10%, every players salary goes up by 10%. The only tricky part is TPAs but in relation or compared to professionally run clubs, TPAs isn't something SGI have to worry about.

Sorry I don't agree. The Dragons could well be using TPA's, we really don't no for sure they are not. I know Gasnier was on a TPA and I feel sure Boyde was - Bennett would have made sure of that. In fact I'd think Hunt would also be on TPA. Now if in Dugan's deal and Tedesco's deal, TPA's are involved, then surely we have enough cap to recruit them both.

Brisbane, Melbourne, Canterbury, Manly, Penrith and Easts all use TPA's and that is how they manage to fit so many marquee players in their roster.

You had the truth within your grasp and let released it? Why did you do that? I'm not sure what is going on with hte salary cap. When it's increasing and by how much and etc. I just read posts by possm and take his word for it but a good hint for you is that I don't say possm is wrong when I don't know whether he is or not.

Tedesco's and almost everyone's contract will be negotiated something like this: ********** will pay you $******* per year but if the salary cap increases by *% you salary will to."

Of course with a player like Tedesco who will be able to attract significant TPAs, it’s more complicated but not fundamentally so.

Of course I agree with that. If the club or player management (or whoever is supposed to sort these things out) is able to organize a lot of money in TPAs like those other clubs you mention do, it's possible but do think suddenly 3rd parties are going to flock to the Dragons and go away from those clubs you mention?

The TPA is supposed to be at arms length and not arranged by a Club. In theory a TPA could follow a player from one club to another.

Maybe it should be the player's manager who arranges TPA's.

In theory yes but those clubs you mentioned have proved it's not a reality.

Apparently Saints had a bad relationship with Player Managers ( I think when Young was in Charge) and hence why we missed out on a few signings or why they never approached us to sign a player. Anyone know if that relationship has improved at all?

Duges is playing well but I still see Dufty/Field as the future. Duges will be good at centre. Funny how he wanted to be a centre last year and now he wants fullback. Pretty pi$$ed of that he is holding out for more cash seeing Saints saved him from the scrap heap. Some people have short memories.

It's looking increasingly likely that Teddy will sign with the Bulldogs. Shame really, he would have made us a top 4 side IMO.

Funny how L plate says he is a centre in his opinion, but wasn't he-probably with a little help from Daley-the one who decided to switch him to centre in the first place?

No doubt Daley influences Mc Fookknuckle re Dugan to centre a few years back.
However we didn't have nor do we currently have a FB replacement = or > than Dugan's ability, so he was shipped back to the FB position as it was deemed easier to fill the hole in the centres.

Hahaha you're kidding yourself if you think I read all your posts. But if it makes you feel better to think that, good for you.
It does. Especially when you keep stating you are ignoring my posts. BTW How about that salary cap situation? Am I wrong?
