Djokovic and Nadal are a given for the first two slams each year currently. Wimbledon favours Fed/Djokovic, US Open Nadal/Djokovic. Nadal maaaaaay just keep ahead of Djokovic until he retires but Djokovic will surely go around 1 - 2 seasons minimum longer than Nadal.

Will end up coming down to next Gen and how many they can take off the big guns. Oh god help us all.

I think Djokovic has the best game for the modern game (racquets, courts), but shot for shot his backhand is better than Fed's, but nothing else. His baseline defence/return has done the trick for him, quite exceptional.

Nadal's is just so unorthodox and effective, despite being very simple. Nothing like it.

Agreed, I remember fed saying that he thought that Nadal's powerful game would result him retiring early through injuries, and he also put crap on another top player changing racquet brands saying that it's a huge gamble. Both these instances are to gain advantage by creating doubt.

He's done very well, strangely lost the ones he should've won against lesser players, i.e. 2x Murray and 2x Wawrinka. That's really been the only difference amongst the big three in terms of slam count. Nadal/Fed have one loss in slams finals to players not in the big 3. I expect Djokovic to continue to correct this, unless he hits a decline and starts racking up losses to this mug generation (unlikely).
