I was happy before the start of the match when they showed Chris O Neil.
I was a blubbering mess when it got to the tie break in the 2nd set.
I was very calm when Barty won championship point and then was a blubbering mess again when they announced Evonne Goolagong was there and came out onto centre court.

Great speech from Collins too.

I kinda feel for the career doubles guys getting beat...but they just couldn't handle the serves Kyrgios and Kokkinakis threw down.

Might be a career shift for the two Ks? They were ridiculously entertaining the whole tournament.

The one i really liked when they showed Ash Barty walking down the hall with the previous champions on the wall, the went past Chris O Neil, Evonne Goolagong/ Cawley, Kerry Reid then they switched the camera to something else before they got to Margaret Court 👍

Well done to the Special K's. While Kyrgios is not my favourite Australian sportsman of all time, I do hope this doubles success somehow stokes a fire in him to make an impact on the singles circuit. He still has all to skills to win a major....upto him to improve his game in the cardio and head stakes. I'd rather him have some actual second week of a major success than to be a clown and tumble out within the first three rounds. All upto him.

Singles players are objectively better at tennis than any career doubles player. Get a couple who gel like those two did and they'll wipe the floor with 'em.

Yeah definitely. I guess that's why I feel slightly sorry for the other guys...like, they'd have probably beaten any other doubles players and won the Aussie open if they hadn't played these two in the final.

Then the other side is like well learn to play tennis properly boys.

The Ebden part is a bit weird. As someone else put it on reddit, Ebden seems to have just forgotten how to play tennis. He was in the top 50 for singles in 2018 (rank 39). He was never amazing but now he's an actual plodder.
