I dont know about some people here, but I have been really really drunk a few times and I never suffer from temporary amnesia. I have had trouble being able to see but I have never had memory loss. The only way I personally can understand not being able to remember a whole night is from drugs (not that I have ever used drugs).

Serious question, has anyone here been so drunk that they could not remember a whole night, nothing from it?

1. Incriminating physical evidence of a forensic nature
2. Statements from someone else in the house
3. Physical evidence such as recordings or otherwise

I've been involved on the periphery of enough rape cases to know that:

1. Most rapists are not very bright, and;
2. The police are very bright indeed.

Physical evidence can be used to trip people up in their statements as to what actually took place...you'd be surprised what people will admit and not admit to.

The other factor is that police have little games they play, such as recording future conversations between the rapist and his victim. It is breathtaking how stupid some people can be, and how egotistical they are.

I am not commenting at all on this case, but I have seen an incidence where all the facts of the case were confirmed by a taped conversation "Yeah, I knew you were too drunk to say no, but....ah, c'mon honey, no harm done....why don't we get together again tonight.....". The guy looked pretty stupid then denying it to police.

Wait and see in this case, anyway.
