I loved cricket in the 90s/early 00's. Then got lost on it and probably would be lucky to watch a game or two but this summer I've got back into it also. I can't f**king stand Warner and as much as I try I can't get into 20/20.

I dunno about batting against the South African pace attack - there’s some absolute express in there.
But I’d fancy my chances of bagging a few wickets with my Terry Alderman-style outswingers.

I don't mind the cricket every now and then. I did enjoy the Boxing Day test. I did watch all the four days.

You can shove the 20/20 and the big bash bullshit. I've never watched a game of it. It's cricket wrestling style.

The proper one dayers are good to watch.

Tell youse a true yarn. I remember sitting with my old man on the front lawn of the family house (No11 Talara Rd, Gymea), we could see Syd-a-ney in the far distance. We witnessed the lights coming on for the first day night one day game. You could make out the tower lights as they got brighter.

Cricket lost me around the time they started wearing PJs. Not because of that but around that time.

FTR, Warner's a flog IMO. So is Cummins.

Just like RL the personality is being drained out of cricket.

When was the last time you went past 11 Talara Rd? I'll swing by there for you and take some pics if you'd like mate.

Last year I was living probably 800m from @Frenzy old joint!

Last time I was in the Shire I snapped a pic of the old joint. Still looked munch the same. But I think it was about 15 years ago when I went back. I can't remember but I can confirm while I was visiting Syd-a-ney we went to watch the Sharks play the Stinking Stains at Kogarah and a bloke named Prior scored the winning try for the Stains. Gawd I hated him back then.

The trucker het is long gone. Lost in a house move I think. Should get a new one actually.

1.47 mil aye!!! True story ( and the Quigley lucky vein continues) The whole street was Housing Commission back in the day. The HC mob eventually offered all the occupants the opportunity to buy their houses at a price I guess would of been a good offer. A chance to own your own house, the aussie dream.

I believe most took up the offers but my dear old dad, bless him, was of the opinion why buy when if anything goes wrong or needs repairs then it is the Commissions job to fix the f**ker.

Needles to say Mum and Dad happily retired to north of Woolgoolga and spent the last years of their life in the Van Park. Hey they had a fantastic time, they reckoned that they should of done it years earlier, but that bonus nest egg was never to prevail.

Both of course have long gone now, another couple that didn't get to see the Sharks win one.

Howzya shoulder Tezza?

It’s recovered well from surgery a couple of years ago to remove an intramuscular lipoma on my deltoid, thanks for asking 😊

I’ve probably lost a yard or two of pace as a result, but I still fancy my chances against Sth Africa.
