Good stuff EH.

Was it the Huddersfield Sharks that Keith Senior coaches? I guess with that result he won't be distracted when his Leeds season starts then.

Gloucestershire beating Illingworth was the best result IMO.Good to see a club from another part of the country beating an established heartland club.

Yeah,it is Huddersfield Sharks that Senior coaches.

It's been announced today that this will be the last year of sponsorship by Powergen:( , The companies parent company E.ON Energy have decided to concentrate thier sponsorship on soccer they announced last week that they were to be sponsors of the FA Cup from next year, its a shame because powergen were very good sponsors not just of the Challenge cup but also the champion schools competition that culminated with a finals festival on Challenge Cup weekend, they have also withdrawn from sponsoring the union knock out cup.

Round Three this weekend!

I Hull KR put 30 points on York and they're in the same division, I hate to think how many they're going to put past amateur York Acorn...

Widnes have an interesting game. After 4 years of discipline problems Hunslet Warriors have been booted out of the Conference at the end of the season. I think the appeals being heard tonight

On the face of it there's not much likelihood of upsets at this stage but the top 3 in the conference premier division - Thornhill, Leigh Miners and East Hull - are all at home. I've seen sides struggle to get going after the long hard journey to Cumbria so Halifax had better be awake against a side with a great cup tradition.
