The Wheel of Time is my favourite series of all time. I almost cried when I finished reading the last book and I did go straight to get a WoT tattoo.

Sure, I'm pretty sure he self published in the end.
He used to run a magazine called Altair but struggled to make a living off it. I think he ended up operating as a publisher and agent under the same name.
He's just recently got a deal to produce a graphic novel that is being made into a film.

I'll check with him but your best bet might be to contact him directly.
I reckon you'd get on well with him, he doesn't suffer fools gladly at all.

Watched the first episode of The Strain tonight. Probably not something I'll continue with but the lead actor looks like the love child of Peter Sarsgaard and Ralph Fiennes.
