I find the opposite. Chicks love my hair - on my head, my beard, my torso. The arse, not so much, but I guess that's what you put up with to get the rest of the magnificent package.

Pretty sure the chicks aren't really a fan of hair halfway up the shaft either.

Gary, you'll be relieved to know that the Wig and Pen will not be closing down when they knock the building over...but will almost certainly move to a nearby (slightly larger) location.....and possibly one where you can hear what the bloke next to you is saying (which is usually 'get me another beer').

Nice one Barry. Work commitments mean that I am regularly down in Canberra. I'll definitely keep an eye out for the new and improved Wig and Pen as they make some nice beers.

Abbott i has back-flipped on a election promise of a high performance centre for Souths at Maroubra.

Meanwhile, he is keeping his pledge to upgrade Brookvale.

pretty sure its not called a "back flipped promise" when you never made the promise ...

"who had banked upon moving their entire operation out of Redfern after the previous Labor Government pledged $16 million a month prior to the September election."

And fair enough - why should the f**king govt pay for a high performance centre? A stadium upgrade is more justifiable - it benefits the punters who attend. I don't see the problem tbh

Agreed. Can we just accept that both sides of politics make promises that they don't deliver on? Someone regularly reporting on how one side doesn't deliver but failing to mention how the other mob does that same is a mincer of the highest order.
