And he nearly took his f**king head off in the process!!! (1st innings)
Comments like that from Smith ain't smart. It'll only make Johnson angrier!!

Suity

I've never met a nice South African, so it's not surprising. I'm sure they're out there, I've just never met one........

Test finished early gives our bowlers and extra days rest and less likely for a change

2nd test starts on the 20th

India are here next summer for 4 tests, Johnson didn't play them last time they were here and we won 4-0. No Harris either

I'm not 100% sure, but I think when Smith referred to Johnson mainly picking up tail-enders, he was referring to the Ashes.

But I'm pretty sure he knocked off Cook more than a few times, and he terrorised Root all series, too.

Plus he got Grahame Smith out twice this match, so  at anything that fat blob has to say anyway.

The Abbott Government has officially removed poverty reduction from the goals of the foreign affairs budget, smoothing the way for the annual $5 billion spend to be redirected to a program that focuses more on growth and co-investment with the private sector.

Our conservative government is slowly exercising their "Social Dawinism" policies.

Refugees can rot elsewhere. Yeah f**k em.
Climate change ? Too busy mate, next.
Foreign aid ? What's in it for me ? Let them starve.
Assistance for manufacturing ? No way. Stand aside workers @ Ford, Toyota, Holden, Alcoa.

It's a jungle out there and if you can't survive, then you'll wither on the vine. No room for soft c**k compassionate tree hugger policies.

Unsurprisingly dishonest of you, Gronk. Philanthropy is for the rich, and the Australian government has been broke for a few years now.

Anyway, it is the job of businesses (not government) to provide employment, and it's the duty and privelage of people (not government) to look after each other.

Why don't you put your money where your mouth is. By the sound of things you can afford it.

We are not broke* and we can afford to be compassionate to our species.

Jesus what it happening to us ? Might as well just throw the unemployed, sick, old merkins and refugees and the rest of the money hungry time wasters into a mincer and make some decent blood n bone fertilizer.

Just because we're less broke than other countries doesn't mean we're not broke.

Every government wants to look 'humanitarian', Gronk. Just as most people justify their own self-interest as compassion. If the government is cutting back on foreign and domestic welfare (as all Western governments are) it's because they can't afford it. They are aware of the damage to their chances of being re-elected.

I just wish Abbott would scrap the paid parental leave nonsense. But that's what you get when Labor tries to turn an election into a gender war. Nobody wins.

OMFG. You have no idea. Commonwealth debt is equal to about 10 months revenue. You wonder why we have a AAA credit rating ?

Hi Gronk, you are rich. I am too according to the Labour Govt. Sure I'm doing alright, but living in Sydney is expensive, so I could always do with a but more. Anyway, can you send me some money because I'd like to renovate my bathroom at home.
