Team NZ were leading 8-2 vs the Yanks, in a first to 9 competition.

The Yanks are now 8-6 and looking the better tacticians. If they beat NZ, this could be the sporting comeback of the century.

Gotta say the technology these days is impressive. These boats hardly touch the water at full speed. I heard one commentator say that the total area of the boat in contact with the water is equivalent to a coffee table.

In the early 90s Weddings PArties Anything were in town, and were doing the obligatory promo on afternoon FM radio. Just before being interviewed, the local FM station played one of their house cartridges along the lines of 'You're a great radio station FM 104, but I wish you'd play more Phil Collins' to which the bass player from WPA replied 'You can get f**ked then'........promo over.
