The best thing about the leftoids frothing over Abbott is that Abbott will survive...and the leftoids won't know what to do once their birthday party is spoiled.
Actually the Leftoids as you call them would be praying for Abbott to hang on till the next election. he has much of chance of winning the next election as Ricky Stuart winning the minor premiership this season.

Lol... the best result for Labor would be Abbott surviving in the role of PM.

Malcolm would pull a lot more centrist/swinging voters over to the LNP, and Shorten would then have his work cut out for him..

Can I ask a simple question, what policies does the lunatic left have to rein in the deficit, repay the debt and grow the economy

If you think idiot Shorten and dopey Bowen have an answer to anything, then really you should find a mirror and have good look at yourself

The diapointment with Abbott is that he did not do what he was elected to do, and Hockey couldn't sell heating in the Antarctic. Still frightening thought that the lefties could be back in control of the country, worse than that , absolutely gobs smackingly stupid

I lean towards the left and agree that we have a debt and budget issue. I also totally agree with you that labour need put forward a plan or policies to address matter.

But I ask the following:

- seriously if you were leading labour would you put out your plan right now when the right are a walking disaster ? They are better lying low
- what annoys me is why does everyone expect labour to put out there plan to address matters when Abbott never did. Especielly so far out from the election, the same standard wasn't expected on abbott. What plan did he take to the election to address debt / budget ?
- and finally what is abbotts actual plan? Yeah welfare/medicare needs to be tighted up but really even if all the policies ( and I don't agree with some of them) were passed, they hardly go any where towards bring the budget into surplus.

And finally the media are pissweak always blaming the senate for abbott's issues, never once did I hear the telecrap and co acknowledge Gillard had similar issues ( she had no majority in either house). Abbott couldn't negotiate a piss up in a brewery. Even one of independents said if labour were in power, he would have 6 new best friends wanting to know what he wanted to be happy.

Josh, carry on making excuses, the left put the country into an enormous hole with crazy spending, more spending embedded into the future budgets with no offsetting income.

Mate. I don't care what anyone says, I have children and grandchildren, and as I care deeply about them and the country , I do not want to see the loonies who have never run a budget surplus back in charge. It's not in Labours DNA and never will be, that's the terrifying thought, Shorten and Bowen are clueless and have no grasp of the situation they created.

I just don't want to see the problems deepen, their jibber about the deficit being a certain percentage of GDP does not answer the question, do they hAve any friggin idea how to curb spending and reduce the debt burden

If the LNP policies were so bad, just pass them and the damage would be reflected in a win at the next election, I still state that they are clueless

First, I what excuses I have made?? Why are shorten/Bowen causeless? You couldn't even answer my questions as you think the right are so right!!!!

You do realise Abbott/hockey are just as causeless, in opposition they opposed a similar measure introduced labour on fringe benefits tax that would have save billions because it would affect the car industry yet they cut all car industry assistance when in power.

I actually acknowledged that we have issues!!! ( but also acknowledge I am s leftie).

Your response basically sums up what is wrong with out political system - it is the right way of doing things or the left way of doing things, there aren't no compromise to get what is best for the country as they both want the power.

Shorten/labour is unwilling to put in place polices that affect the average person ( e.g. like raising / expanding the Gst)
Abbott/liberals are unwilling to put in place policies that affect business / well off ( e.g. super concessions/ tax rorts for business etc)

Both parties just want the power. I would prefer Shorten accept that it aren't about being PM it's about the country, along with the liberals accepting their way isnt always the right way.

Mate, I am the first to admit Abbott has been a major disappointment and has not addressed things as expcted

However, until the Labour party admit that their maniacal spending spree under Gilard and Rudd was excremenet on paper we will go nowhere., We both agre the country should come first, pity that Canberra is an isolated s**thole that seems to negate simple thoughts and working together for the benefit of all

agree, we may have spent to much but Howard / Costello ( and Rudd in 2007) also gave a few to many paye tax cuts which have cause problems.

My issue is everyone knows there is an issue yet the right want to cut some welfare payments without doing much else, they are fighting over things which don't make a huge different to the budget, if I had it my way I would:

- 12.5 Gst and expand to education
- negative gearing only for new builds
- increase Medicare level by .05% ( instead of co payment)
- piss off direct action
- can only take super as a lump sum to pay off home rest needs to be taken as pension
- super only tax free at half of average male wage
- residential home included in assessment for pension - obviously need stakeholder engagement to work out new system.
- fix up mutli National company tax system
- fuel level in place.
- ftb a and b - no more increases threshold / rates so cost decreases over time.
- review of tax system

That's the funny thing about the left, though - they can't see what's best for them because they're so consumed by their spite.

All they want is to spit on Abbott's corpse, even though it could very well lead to the Coalition getting a second term.

That's why it's hilarious.

No you're wrong. The vast majority that want Abbott to resign today (50% of those polled in todays galaxy poll) think that he's a f**kwit. The issue of labor being re-elected is irrelevant unless the LNP trigger a DD. The election is 18 months away otherwise.

The reason why this is happening tomorrow is because of the NSW election is in 11 weeks and the pressure from NSW right is huge. Ignore that the spill motion started from WA. That's just NSW is being tricky. NSW libs are shitting themselves that the Abbott factor will result in yet another swing.

The left as you call them are probabaly pissed at all the lies they were told, and even a fair amount of righties are as well.

I voted for this prick and cant wait to see the back of him.

I really don't know how any one could possibly defend his actions.

There may be some one eyed labor merkins that just want Abbott to fail just so they can gloat, but the majority just want a leader, from any side, who can implement fiscal reform in an equitable manner. Fairness and honesty is all we want.

Don't they all lie?
Howard was our best prime minister but everyone thought the grass was greener and went for rudd- A mummas boy who cries-No offense but how did we have that sissy running our country. Its been a downhill slide since then.

Playing the "they all lie" card is a cop out. These merkins need to be accountable for what they promise. Gillard lied and lost her job. Newman did the same in QLD. Abbott in most people's view has done the same on a handfull of occasions and will loose his job too.

I love labor voters thou-there all about compassion-equal rights-sticking up for the poor-a fair society-empathetic kind people..........Liberal voters are selfish-care about themselves-ruthless-calice people. that just want to get rich and screw everyone else......

Its easy too too know which category you would rather put yourself in and to be viewed by fellow humans.Kind of like those people who do those missions to Africa for a week too help out. Reality is its just a feel good story and a self esteem booster.
