Sad but true. However there are perceived downsides to filling your population shortfall through immigration. Especially once governments start running out of money. Look at Europe now compared to ten years ago.

Was driving the car on Sunday when I pulled up at the lights at the Normanby 5 ways and Mrs Gutful said "Have a look to your left, it's Wayne Bennett".

We both then proceeded to watch him firmly wedge his finger into his hooter, pick a winner and then proceed to roll it between his fingers and flick it over the top of the steering wheel.

True story.

Did it stay on the windscreen or not?

I am quite sure he has done the same thing as an answer to a question in a press conference

That's cool Twiz, you just go shout at IS to stop and I am sure they will listen, then no need to take action, they are a jolly bunch of good blokes who will understand and not harm anyone:crazy:

I'm guessing that the cops should have tasered him or shot him in the leg. They killed him cos of his race or religion. Hate crime. Everyone is against us.

The dead man, who recently had his passport cancelled, was considered a "person of interest" by authorities and was being investigated over terrorism.
The man, whose family are from Afghanistan, had been associated with the radical Islamic group called Al-Furqan.

Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Ken Lay said the man attacked a police officer who tried to shake his hand.
"When our police members have approached this young man, one's extended his hand to shake his hand and the response has been he's been stabbed in the arm," he said.
"The attacker's then turned on the second police member and stabbed him three or four times in the body and in the head.
"The first wounded member has then shot and killed the young man."

I always thought officers were to shot to kill, not wound? Or is that the US?

Some f**ker is stabbing police officers (I don't care what race or religion) he needs to be put down permanently!!

Yep, the do gooders will no doubt have a cry, but they need to be taken down.

The other night on Q&A, they were whining that the raid on muslim houses last week was racially motivated and would not have happened if the suspects were white.

Um, bikie gangs anyone ?

Let the cops raid the merkins, whether they are bikies or marginalised religious f**kers, should they pose a clear and present danger to us all.

Unless you've had a LOT of training (i.e. more than the typical cop or soldier) then you just aim for the centre of seen mass.

Advanced marksmanship training is expensive, including for time lost when the shooter could be doing something else (other training or even actual work). Ammunition, range maintenance, wear and tear on the weapons and so on all cost money.

So you'll find that only CT cops and special operations soldiers will be aiming for specific body parts. Even then, in the heat of the moment when you've just been stabbed and your mate is being hacked up there is the instinct to just point your weapon and keep pulling the trigger until the target falls down. Firing a weapon at a human being is a life changing experience for most people, and the gravity of the situation probably isn't lost on any given shooter, regardless of how many tens of thousands of rounds he's fired at the range. This was probably the first time this cop had ever shot at anyone.

The guy was Afghan according to the ABC, just like all the guys who were retained form last weeks arrests.

We really dont get too many asylum seekers from Afghanistan.
