Actually getting rid of the OT would minimise the amount of text you had to nitpick from, thus minimising your chances of changing your religion to suit yourself.

He is quiet happy to burn coal for power generation as its much cheaper than renewable energy.

You're in trouble if you start caring about promises made in the lead up to an election.

I vote based on what a party is likely to achieve, not on what they say they will do. If they didn't make unrealistic promises they would never get elected. And once they're in power they have any number of interest groups constraining their actions.

That's why I believe in small government. Private individuals are the best means of getting shit done. Public institutions are far too wasteful and prone to paralysis.

I know what they'll do because I know the party's ideology - the types of people that join the party as well as the types of people that vote for them. These are the major constraints of what a given party will do when in power, and one of the many reasons why election promises (generally aimed at swinging voters) are inevitably broken.
