It's true. The death of one man is a tragedy. The deaths of millions is a statistic.
Have to say one thing for Gronk and the rusted on lefties. They never, never, ever give up their mission
Yawn, yawn
Just curious why "rusted on's" of one side of politics always refer to those on the opposite side as "rusted on" in a demeaning manner without ever recognizing that they are themselves just as "rusted on".
You mean like calling people 'housos'?
Yep. It's too common - but it still isn't very common. Fortunately, suicide is a very rare event. Roughly one person in ten thousand suicides in Australia. It's very sad but, like everything, needs to be kept in perspective.

Mate, I understand that and agree. I try to keep things in perspective and generally do.
It doesn't make the whole situation any better.
The amount of farmers taking their lives is just sad.
I left school 34 years ago, and I reckon I know a dozen or more people who have committed suicide.
Perspective sometimes just doesn't help.
Suity
A mate of mine went on a tour to San Fransisco a fews years back and the guide explained the countless people that jump off the Golden Gate Bridge. Anyway they questioned all of the survivors (there was literally about 50 of them) and all of them stated that they regretted jumping as soon as they left the bridge. Our natural survival instincts always kick in.
Nearly all people who hang themselves (assuming they don't break their neck) try and loosen the knot by grabbing at it or try to place their feet on something. Survival instinct again.
I didn't leave. Still here.
I've tied my tie around my head and have smeared dust from the back of my computer on my face. I'm ready for him.
