It's seriously shithouse. It's amazing just how tacky it is. Come to think of it I hate QLD. Even further north where the beaches are better half the time you can't swim because of the stingers.

You get more real estate for your money in Queensland. That's good for retirees and anyone able to get a job wherever in Queensland they're living.

I don't mind Brisbane. It's just the Gold Coast that sucks. The beach is for bludgers anyway, as any Mediterranean_Descendant parent will tell you.

I don't mind Brisbane (or at least the bits I've been to) and also the mountains behind the Sunshine Coast (Maleny area)....though they could go to shit at the drop of a hat.

I love Sydney and it doubles usually every 10 to 12 years.
