Confirmed: NFL announces game in Australia

NFL Executive Vice President, Peter O'Reilly has announced that the Melbourne Cricket Ground would host an LA Rams home game in 2026, most likely in Week 1 of the season.

Official press release says Rams home game. We are due to play them in 2026 but it's our home game. Looking at the rams opponents for 2026, I reckon it's going to be the Chargers as that makes the most sense travel wise.

The report also says week 1 is likely but I have high doubts about that given NFL week 1 usually lines up with AFL week 1 finals although in the case of 2026 it will be week 2 finals.

SB52 was good but the opposition balled on offence too. We just made a play on defence when it mattered.

2017 NFC championship is the only other contender in my life time IMO which was also a flawless performance. This one against a 2 time champion pips it IMO.

My little brother is as big of an Eagles fan as I’m a Raiders fan… so when we were teenagers I saw my fair share of eagles games through the years…

the most dominant performance I’ve ever seen from the Eagles was a random game against the Packers I watched with my bro… i know it was in the year you went to the Super Bowl as I remember TO was playing.. I think he had like a buck fifty in receiving yards but McNabb went nuts with Westbrook. I have in my head it was at the Linc but it could have been at the old Vet…

I’ll never admit it to my bro… but that Eagles team with McNabb, Westbrook under Andy Reid was crazy fun to watch…
