Being realistic, the Sharks can probably win at least 7/8 out of the remaining 12

8 out of our 12 remaining games are at home.
I know our home form has been dodgy this season but if we can keep up a winning momentum we should get some big crowds in the final run in.
Hopefully this can make the stadium more intimidating than it has been recently.

Incidently I wonder what has been our best away record during a season.
Surely this season should get close to whatever it is.

I’m not getting to excited yet. Too many things could happen between now and the end to the regular season that could stop us in our tracks. Too often I’ve put off the family holiday thinking we need to be able to go to Sydney late September, early October.

As I said too many things could happen between now and the final round. The world could get hit by a meteorite, through global warming my house could be washed away, Simmo could be right and Jesus returns (or whomever the guy was in Hitchikers Guide they were waiting for). Any of these could upset the fragile ability of us to make the eight and make an impact.

Don’t get me wrong I want us to be up there in the top four (eight at least), but I’ll just be cautious for now.

At the moment I hope we beat the Warriors this week.

Manly beat us in a QF that year. Not by much. Don't remember if that knocked us out or if there was another game for us after.

Other than that, even right throughout the Lang era we used to get into semis based on Endeavour being a fortress.

With 8 home games to go this year we HAVE to get that status back for the old park.

8 from 12 at home... thats massive.... our away games are some of the worst we could have but we cant beat the tigers anywhere so that doesnt count anyway...

next 4 weeks are keys for us we can string 6 wins in a row and really set ourselves up... however i wont go there just yet... i made that mistake against the dogs.... so warriors here we come...
