I think 6 or 7, but I can see us making the game before the Grand Final.

Seems to me our whole year we have been playing finals footy (tight games where we grind out wins) so if we get to the finals we will be much better served by it.

Probably looking at 4th or 5th, with the Sharks attack to be fantastic to knock off the Storm come September/October

you cant go into the finals winning 2 games.

that will place us 8th. out in the first round. no thanks.

I wanna be there for the long haul.

Winning the home games and a couple away will put us right up there.

A home semi first up would be great for the club.

From there. strangle the opposition.

Of course, but I don't see how we have to win all remaining home games to "remain relevant"

yes and the masons are getting some very good press for the club and themselves which no doubt makes it more attractive for others to join and increase the vocal and organised support..so well done ot them. I still think it inda sucks about their forum and this one though.

Way i see it..the more wins you have the better.

winning 3/13 and scraping into the finals would be pointless in my opinion.

We win all the home games...we could push for the top spot.

Watching the game on Fox on Sunday the commentators said all the Masons guys got off the buses and came into the ground together singing the club song, chanting "Shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarkies" etc. Gave them a big wrap saying they could be heard over the top of the pennies supporters and how good it was for the club to have them.
I know the team enjoys the support.
They are doing a great job.

Its was good to hear them comment on it. They said that there had been no atmoshere until the sharks supporters arrived.

im not sold on the point of 26 points making the top 8

especially with our for and against

Agreed. I think it will take 28 points to get there this year at least.

Anyone know where you could find a copy of last years ladder after round 13?

Found it.

Ladder this year has 5 teams on 18 points, 3 on 16 points, 3 on 14 points, 2 on 12, 1 on 10, 1 on 8, 1 on 6.

Last year at the same stage it was 2 teams on 22, 2 on 16, 5 on 14, 2 on 12 and 5 on 10.

At the end of Round 13 2007 At the end of last round 2007

Melbourne 22 Melbourne 44
Manly 22 Manly 38
Cowboys 16 Cowboys 32
Tigers 16 Warriors 29
Eels 14 Eels 28
Knights 14 Bulldogs 28
Sharks 14 Bunnies 26
Titans 14 Broncos 24
Raiders 14 Tigers 24
Bunnies 12 Roosters 23
Bulldogs 12 Sharks 22
Panthers 10 Titans 22
Warriors 10 Dragons 20
Dragons 10 Raiders 20
Broncos 10 Knights 20
Roosters 10 Penrith 18

Big movers were the Broncos and Warriors. Sadly the Sharks feel in a heap last year.

The Sharks form for the last 12 games for 2007 read as
LLBLLLLLWLWW

I think there were about two/three one points losses in that group.

i think the ladder will end up like this

Melbourne
Broncos
manly
Roosters
Sharks
Tigers
Titans
Penrith

Week One we beat the Roosters
Week two we beat the Titans
Week Three loose to the Storm

That probably doesnt work out right but who cares. I just don't want to play the tigers

I'm confident of 7 more wins + the by which puts us on 34 points. Should be enough for a top 4 look in.
