My whole problem with Carney defending at FB is what if the opposition make a break and it's Carney vs say a big front rower or a back rower.

Gardner only had to make 3 tackles Carney 20, I'd say there are more big units running at 5/8's than fullbacks

Ayshford wins the comp of in a backline of Slater,Hayne,B.Morris,Inglis,Thurston and DCE with Bellamy coach maybe.

The only premiership he has and ever will win is the Arrive Alive Cup with Endeavour back in the day.
