THE BEST STRIP IN THE NRL

Just have to say the Eels 2004 strip is the best I have seen out of the NRL clubs this year. It has that traditional look combined with a more modern feel and the gold is gold and not yellow! It's simple but the subtle horizontal lines give it character! I also like the way our sponsors' logos look like they are permanant unlike other clubs which the sponsors' logos look like patches that are temparary! Well done Eels you always seem to be that one step ahead. Now let's take this aesthical high onto the field! GO YOU EELS!

I agree with everything you say. The jerseys have definately grown on me since I first saw them on the official site.

I'll be purchasing a blue strip methinks when I get the 2nd mortgage on the house to pay for it!

yeah i loved the new strip as soon as i saw it. the blue is sensational! and the gold idnt that bad either.
i bought the gold strip as i always do. i might consider buying the blue one also..
im am impatiently waiting the arrival of my beautiful new jersey in the mail.

Take it from me - first time I saw them, I HATED them.

I thought we went back a couple of centuries in design.

But then planeteels posted a few photos on his site and on here with MUCH better lighting and I all I can say is this: WOW.

I am going to get BOTH the Blue and Gold versions ASAP.

when i get my act together, i will be going a blue one..
i don't hate it, but i just don't think anything wil ever beat that: james hardie/1999/2000 stripes style.. the legends jersey was proof that stripes are the parramatta way, and it does bug me that they are trying to move away from that...
but you know, i wil see my boys run out in it and it won't bother me one litle bit...
