That was a situation where NZ needed to do that to qualify. Had nothing to do with keeping anyone in particular out.

I'm talking about situations where Australia have already qualified, and lose on purpose just to keep NZ out.

because in the cricket, you were already through to the next round, and deliberately tried to play NZ out of it. Playing for yourself is ok, but why would you play simply to eliminate a third party when you've already qualified yourself? That's incredibly pathetic
