The conversation between Clark & Bruce at that party was probably the best part of the trailer for me. The way Affleck looked at Clark as he was saying "freaks dressed as clowns" and pretty much pointing at him with his eyes suggests he knows exactly who Superman is.

Finally got around to seeing the second BvS trailer... and WTF was that

Gone is the dark intrigue from the teaser, the villain and Wonder Woman reveals were god awful esp the goofy dialogue and so-called rapport between them at the end there. Worst of all was Eisenberg's Lex Luthor prancing around like that idiot little cousin who got dragged along with the big kids, the tone of the movie is suddenly comical.

I had some hopes they might have got things right, but this is going to be a terrible movie.

*

Cap 3 looks fine, albeit a bit run of the mill.

You just know they'll wrap it up again in a neat bow ready for the next Avengers, they don't have the balls to kill off major characters so the trailer suspense is false.

This slew of Marvel movies are really just becoming episodes of a wider piece, which doesn't help the individual movies at all.

Suicide Squad looks like complete sh*t

This was the only good part of the trailer, although still not sold on Cavill.
Looks the part, but he's got massive improvements to make acting wise.

BatAffleck will go fine.

 just because I haven't spent my life reading comic books doesn't mean I can't appreciate the movies, which is what this conversation is about.

And hey, I haven't seen you defending that tripe that was released last week, nor your bum buddy zack Snyder, so obviously you think it's as bad as everyone else does

Did you read that on Wikipedia?

Mate, I'm the same. Never really read comic books, but very into the movies and have used those and Wikipedia to build up my knowledge of the characters.

There is a massive contrast in the quality of Marvel and DC's cinematic universes. Granted, DC only have one movie in their shared universe, but as far as starter movies it was a stinker. Compare to Iron Man, which was universally acclaimed. Now DC are going straight into an ensemble movie without putting in the time to develop the characters. It reeks of desperation from a company who are behind the 8 ball.

f**king LMAO
Just because DC are going in a different direction than Marvel it reeks of desperation????
Even if they went in the same direction as Marvel they would just get panned for copying the same formula.

Man Of Steel a Stinker?
Have you seen Daredevil, Elektra or Blade?? or haven't you made it that far on Wikipedia yet?

For the record, daredevil, Electra and blade aren't marvel studios productions, nor are they part of the MCU so they don't count in this argument. Same as Batman forever, Batman and robin, and green lantern don't count either.

Man of Steel, however, was the first, underwhelming entry in the DCEU. If you're going to compare it to anything, then Thor 2 would be the most apt.

Don't know what you merkins are watching.
That BvS trailer was awesome!

Probably would have preferred they didn't reveal Doomsday (if that actually is Doomsday), but hey it was still cool.
Trailer would have been perfect if it just cut off when you hear the roar.

Apparently Doomsday isn't the big villain in BvS.

Whilst that's good that whole movie hasn't been spoiled, I think it's becoming too heavy with superheroes and villains.

Why is it good that Doomsday isn't the 'big' villain?
I would have thought he'd be a perfect choice for it. Someone who is so hard to defeat that it needs superheros to team up and defeat him.

But really, the 'big' villain would be Lex of course. While he wouldn't combat them physically, he is the one pulling all the strings.

EDIT: Haha, I really should have read your entire post properly before commenting. You did explain yourself. Sorry.

Actually, I've read that the main villain is

Darkseid
, and there's something in the most recent trailer that supports this.

But I wouldn't be surprised if that's just as a teaser to the Justice League movie.
