They have a far better track record than DC though. I honestly can't say a single Marvel movie I haven't enjoyed to some extent, can't say the same for most movies coming out of DC. At least they do Batman alright, at least in their recent attempts.

Daredevil
Ghost Rider 1 and 2
Punisher
Hulk
Incredible Hulk

I really should have MCU, but that aside I liked The Incredible Hulk, the first one wasn't any good though. I haven't watched The Punisher in a while, but I enjoyed it when watching it while I was younger. Daredevil was average, but in return we got an amazing Netflix series for that, fare trade off there. I'll give you Ghost Rider.

No review embargo?

Apparently the critics who see it this afternoon our time can give comments on social media straight after the movie but written reviews cant be published till 13th of april.

Going to be a long 3 weeks lol.

According to screenrant actual reviews will be able to go up at 5pm today (our time). Marvels confidence in this movie must be through the roof

Edit: can't find that article anymore so they must've taken it down, or edited it cause I can only see one that says about the social media embargo ending today

I'm going alone just for Margot Robbie, if it's good it's a bonus.

But it does look pretty good though.

So it looks like Margot Robbie may save the the DC movie universe by being sexy, colourful and with a bag load of quips- the exact things the DC fan boys hate about the marvel movie universe.

Leta face it... the first iron man was a prettyhard act to follow.

Iron Man 1 is the *only* movie in the series which didn't feel like a sequel setup.

Avengers 1 and Cap 2 are the only others that had a satisfying third act and felt like a complete movie.

The rest all play like episodes of a Sunday morning cartoon series.

Iron Man 3 had an absolutely brilliant trailer, and delivered mostly garbage.
It's biggest sin (like most of the Marvel movies) is just being so damn safe.

I hope Civil War isn't, but I doubt it.

Well yeah, sure it took risks in that sense, I didn't mean safe in that way.

The whole mandarin cop out after building him up as a genuine global threat? Amusing, but shifted a far less interesting Guy Pearce to the villain role, who was just another expendable nut job.

The trailer promised Stark giving away his home address and it backfiring, nightmares, insomnia, genuine threats to Pepper, he actually looked vulnerable and threatened. Everything until the Mandarin twist was surprisingly dark and mysterious for Marvel land.

I call the movie "safe" because in the end it did nothing with these, Downey Jnr continued his talk-fast-and-quip routine, every major character was fine, stupid unexplained plot devices saved the day, Cheadle just moped around.

It was one weird movie.
