The comp leaders (Warriors/Saints)...how far will they go?

Well, July hasn’t been kind to us.

Just getting our only loss for the month out of the way early.

All that matters is who in the top 8 finds form in the last few weeks of the comp and is as injury free as possible in the finals

Pretty much.

Top 4 obviously better than 5th to 8th, but I think the top 8 are so close to each other you'd be better coming in 5th with a run of form and healthy squad, than 4th without those. And with so many (well, 5) Sydney teams in the 8, their "home" advantage won't really mean much.

It is a shame the race for the top 8 is almost a non event now. I wonder how much resting of key players will happen at the end of the year, given that so many results won't make a huge difference?

It’s still too early to call your season as done. You guys have shown the ability to bounce back. The semis are a completely different competition.*

Edit: Actually anyone in the top 4 is a chance, maybe even the 8. It's good in that it's still unpredictable but it's bad in that most teams in the top 8 aren't impressive. Some have had good wins but overall, they haven't looked that good.
