The comp leaders (Warriors/Saints)...how far will they go?

So to answer the original question- how far will they go? The playoffs at least, you’d think at this point. Saints are in the box seat and the Warriors are closer to 1st than 9th with a pretty good run home.

We will know more about the Warriors next week, they were obviously fired up after an abysmal effort last week, if they can consistently play like did today, I have them in the top 4

I don’t think we’ll be top 4 but if we do g drop out bundle too much and get the cattle back up front (Harris, Afoa, Pulu) 5th-6th is realistic.

Saints were terrible today and clearly a number of the Origin guys shouldn't have played, however even being way off they still finished 3 tries All against a team that's beaten fellow top 4 sides the storm twice and roosters.

They'll be fine.

Kind words. The thing is the Origin players weren’t rested because the coach hasn’t got faith in any of our ISP players. Sure, he’s picked them to play off the bench but there have been games where they might see 10 minutes at the end. That’s not got for building a players confidence or getting them used to first grade. Also, players like Nighty, Aitken, Lafai don’t feel their position is under threat & become a little too comfortable.
It’s not the end but we have a lot of work to do.

The wild fluctuations of opinion in this thread are a bit much.

The top 7, including the Warriors and Dragons, have all won between 11-13 out of 17. It's almost as if it's just a very close competition.

To be fair the Warriors were thumped by the Roosters, Storm, Rabbitohs and Panthers, but then we also thumped the Roosters and Rabbitohs away from home. If you base your opinions off the the Warriors, the Panthers and Storm are the best teams in the comp. I'm really not sure it's that simple.

No chance.

Edit: Actually anyone in the top 4 is a chance, maybe even the 8. It's good in that it's still unpredictable but it's bad in that most teams in the top 8 aren't impressive. Some have had good wins but overall, they haven't looked that good.

not sure how you can say Storm are 'no chance'

Top 4 locks imo

Warriors looked good last game but it was only the Donkeys so it's hard to get a gauge on them.

Dragons looking shaky against decent sides

That was the real Warriors today. They are total frauds. They'll probably make the 8, but lack the temperament to give the competition a shake. They are mental midgets, making up the numbers.

It's awful to hear you talk like that about your team. Hope you blokes find some form again late in the season. (Not next week pleas).

I don't know if any side in the comp is as competitive and conversely a complete fraud as much as we are with or without Issac Luke.

so McGregor is on the wrong side of history again and most of us saw it coming

from the position we were in

only the third time in 26 years has a team finished outside the top 4

only one other time in that whole period has a team slid further than he manged

Congratulations must be given to the players irregardless. The only side in the top 8 with a negative net impact from coaching and development
