I think the CSSC came under far more scrutiny after the relationship with the club went from one of disrespect to one of cooperation and eventually synergy.

As a bunch of young blokes with no official attachment to the club we could get away with plenty. Obviously when one of our founding members (and VP) was elected to the board, that changed.

I still love the supporters club and I have a seat in the cage and travel on the bus of dreams. Sure, some guys have moved on and they were a big part of what made the early days so much fun, but after 5 years of work it was time to pass it on. This committee has come through with some great innovations this year and I still have a ball with them.

You should get on the bus Monday night Newman, you don't need to be a member although it's cheaper if you are.

i was a member for the first 2 years but after awhile it got harder and harder to get down to games with work etc and i ended up eventually not renewing...had some good times though..the fence collapse night at newcastle was a good one..we came from behind, knights had about 3 vid ref trys disallowed and i think vags scored on the bell to wrap it up...a good atmosphere in the group that night

i remmeeber another at brookvale where their fans just gave it to us all night...

I've never seen or can recall a bad word written about you Newman because you're a true blue sharks man & that's what we all are.

The current management is doing a good job as did the previous 1. It is hard times being a sharks supporter over the last 5 years, particularly the last 2.

I think the results on the field have severely affected the turnout of the CSSC members. The CSSC management don't use it as an excuse but I believe it has a huge impact. Let's face it, we have sucked over the last 2 1/2 seasons. The fact we have won a few games straight - it is no co-incidence 95+ will turn up on a Monday night to support the team.

The away trips are still massive. Gold Coast was pretty epic. I anticipate a pretty huge Brisbane away trip.
