I would like to hear your thoughts on this...
You've noticed since the 500th episode special TFS had in 2011, TFS have now started showing numerous old footage (e.g. anti-ads) from past episodes which also include Blocker and Raaaaaaaaay. This has happened more regularly since Raaaaaaay started to appear on the show in 2012 with the "5 in the Bin" segment and it looks like the feuds have been mended and everyone has kissed and made up.
The big question is now: is Ch9 going to re-release "The Best of the Footy Show" DVD, with all the bits involving Blocker, Raaaaay and Mahatma Cote (especially including Blocker and Mahatma Cote)? When I bought that "Decade of Hits" DVD at the time, I was incredibly disappointed that most of the great bits from the '90s were omitted due because of Fatty's personal dispute with Blocker and Raaaaaay. Absolutely no footage of Blocker or Mahatma Cote appear (even the footage of Blocker appearing in some of the clips on the DVD is edited so it makes it look like he doesn't exist in the clip), although you can hear Blocker's raucous laugh in the background in some of the clips. Blocker played an integral part in the early success of the show. I also wasn't aware that Greg Ritchie had a falling out with Fatty as well. Although the period "best of" period on the DVD is 1994-02, 95+% of the footage is taken from 1999-02.
Furthermore, unlike the AFL, the NRL did not release "best of TFS" tapes during the '90s (you can find several of those tapes on eBay, like this:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/The-Best...92?pt=AU_VHS_Tapes&hash=item5665645988&_uhb=1), neither is there much footage on YouTube from this period. I remember there were several clips of Mahatma on YouTube around 2006, but I think Ch9 must've chucked a spaz and as a result, they were removed. I feel that league fans have definitely been cheated by Ch9....again.
Edit: I do remember that Mahatma Cote made a comeback in the opening episode of 2002 (and flopped), and don't remember seeing him again.
