Yeah that was a good story on Mark Hughes.

Really tough times, but I wish Mark and his family all the best. I hope he gets through it.

Geez its been tough for the Knights club in recent times but what keeps it strong is the former and current players sticking together, supporting each other.

Not just Newcastle but from other clubs as well.

Gallon had a few good shots on Beau, I quite enjoy other players bagging him out these days. It's actually funny as opposed to most of the sh1t Beau serves up

Sooo I got tix to the brisbane show next week, pretty keen.
Anyone been to a footy show before? What should I expect? Can you get drinks/snacks thru the show?
Should we throw something at slats?

Went to one at the South Bank Piazza a few years ago, you can barely hear them talking and when they do the short breaks for the ad break they put in later you have the set guys telling you to make noise etc.

Even if the tickets are free don't bother.

Throw a sense of humour at the useless merkin.

Note to the footy show :- have Yvonne Sampson on every week.

This.

How much more professional and knowledgable is she compare to Molan. It's so obvious. She's ten times hotter too, not that it should matter, but they seem to go for that with their auidence.

Erin researches hard and works harder - while Yvonne is more of a natural presenter

Slats is a merkin - why dont he and tim gilbert do a show called "opinionated interjectors" about a pair of tv hosts told to do a football show - interrupt when things get interesting with their own opinion and suffer the fear of being way out of their depth , nervous and unfunny?

I agree have both Yvonne and Erin and ditch Slats, he is dreadful. I wanted to give him a chance but this year he is trying way to hard now that I think he feels comfortable and ruins a lot of the fluency and jokes

No threads about the Sunday Footy Show so I'll just post this here.

http://www.qrl.com.au/content/qrl/club/news/2014/05/23/rd_13_intrust_super_cup_preview.html

The PNG Hunters will feature on Channel 9s Sunday Footy Show this weekend. Reporter Bill Baxter and cameraman Paul Boersma travelled to Kokopo for PNG’s recent clash against Wynnum Manly Seagulls.
They went behind the scenes with the Hunters camp and explored PNG’s cultural diversity. “It was really special to get up there … you have this elusive, unknown paradise so close to us,” Baxter said.
